In india, peasants are throwing stones at doctors to drive them off. Because doctors obviously caused the virus.

In the uk, 5g towers are being burned because these clueless third worlders think corona is caused by them.

In china people are still eating bats.

In America, people die eating fish tank cleaner because their president told them it was a cure.

Let’s be fair.

Nah the president didn't tell people tank cleaner was a cure. What you are suggesting would be akin to someone putting sodium hydroxide on their french fries then blaming Morton.

Only all the dumb kids that get sick will be prioritized for ventilators.

Dumbass spring breakers and people who went to megachurches should be denied ventilators and medical treatment.

Fuck them.

The president said hydroxychloroquine was a cure.

Then fox news said it was sold out but you can get it from fish tank cleaner.

Then the couple took it.

Trump and Fox News are attached to the hip so both are always partially responsible but added together become completely responsible for spreading lies.

"Speaking to the Free Beacon, Wanda acknowledged she was a Democrat and put less emphasis on Trump's guidance: "We weren't big supporters of [Trump], but we did see that they were using it in China and stuff," Wanda said.

"We didn't think it would kill us," she added. "We thought if anything it would help us, 'cus that's what we've been hearing on the news.""

Turns out the woman is a Democrat has donated to Hillary and others and didn't take the fish tank cleaner because of President Trump.

That aside how about you provide a link where FOX News told people to take the fish tank cleaner.

https://www.mediamatters.org/coronavirus-covid-19/fox-news-linked-fish-tank-cleaner-trumps-recommended-coronavirus-treatment-man

"Despite Fox’s outrage at the suggestion that no one but the couple is to blame for their hospitalization and death, a March 19 headline on Fox News’ website implies an equivalence between the pharmaceutical and an aquarium chemical: “Drug cleared by Trump, FDA for coronavirus testing also found in fish tanks -- and prices online are soaring.”

"The Fox article hypes the spike in prices of fish tank cleaners containing chloroquine phosphate without clearly explaining that outside of its approved pharmaceutical form and dosage, chloroquine phosphate can be toxic and deadly -- though it does mention that it’s not for “human consumption” at the end of the third paragraph. Considering most Americans don’t read past the headline of an article, it is not only irresponsible but outright idiotic for Fox to imply such equivalence in the article title during a pandemic when people are desperate to find ways to protect themselves.

"The article also stated that “President Trump announced in a press conference Thursday that chloroquine phosphate -- a substance found in drugs used to treat malaria and severe arthritis -- was cleared by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to test as a treatment for the coronavirus.” (The FDA has not approved the drug for treatment of COVID-19.) As of this morning, the article remains live on Fox’s website, without any updates or clarifications.

"It wasn't just Fox News, either. Articles like this were elsewhere in right-wing media. There was a similar article in News Corp's New York Post ..."

There was literally no mention of it in any other news source except Murdoch rags.

Par for the course for "conservatives" to attack the woman though but the bad information still came from Trump and Fox news.

” Turns out the woman is a Democrat has donated to Hillary and others and didn't take the fish tank cleaner because of President Trump. ”

So, distrust in Trump and Fox News saved her life?

Funny thing is I read that article. It didn't say to take the fish tank cleaner. It said the cleaner contained the same chemical and there was an increase in prices. The same article was used by several news sources despite your claiming otherwise. Nowhere did the article say that people should use the fish tank cleaner. Meaning of course you failed to provide a link or any proof of your claim.

How is quoting what the woman said attacking her? She admitted why she took the fish tank cleaner and it wasn't because President Trump told her to.
There are some right wing sites on the internet saying the woman wanted to kill her husband and took advantage of the situation to do just that. Those nut jobs are not representative of most the right though.

you left out this part, you hack:

"We saw Trump on TV—every channel—and all of his buddies and that this was safe," she said last Monday. "Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure."
~ lady whose husband Trump got killed

(btw, Trump continues to say it won't kill you... & even the real stuff CAN kill you)

"Wanda acknowledged she was a Democrat and put less emphasis on Trump's guidance: "We weren't big supporters of [Trump], but we did see that they were using it in China and stuff," Wanda said."

Do you know what "less emphasis" means? I left that part out because obviously President trump saying it didn't have much impact on Wanda's decision based on her own words.

I'm sure in your world President Trump showed up personally and forced it down their throats.

Nice try at moving the goalposts. Obviously if you believe the lie, then you bear some responsibility. But if that liar is the president who you should normally trust, then it's clearly fucked up on the president's part to tell so many lies, especially when it relates to life and death.

"less emphasis" is text written by a pro-Trump media org so i put no stock in it

the odds she heard about a chinese study on the news that wasn't covering Trump promoting the drug is near-zero (plus she specifically says she was seeing Trump promoting it & acting like it was proven & safe)

This isnt even worth arguing.

He said it could possibly be a game changer.___ That is true. The malaria drug plus I beleive an antibiotic ( zpac) by anecdotal evidence so far seems to lessen the length of the fever by one day and drastically reduced the chance of it becoming severe/lethal.

That is according to DW news Damn you Merkel.

Afaik, no one said go.drink.fisj tank cleaner. I mean damn, people knock Trump.supporters for.being idiots, and many are. But Team Biden has taken it to a new level.

"But the nice part is, it’s been around for a long time, so we know that if it — if things don’t go as planned, it’s not going to kill anybody."
~ Trump, Mar ~19

"And this is not a drug that — obviously, I think I can speak for a lot of — from a lot of experience, because it’s been out there for over 20 years. So it’s not a drug that you have a huge amount of danger with. It’s not like a brand-new drug that’s been just created that may have an unbelievable monumental effect, like kill you."
~ Trump, Mar ~20

^ pre the homicide by Trump (+ him indicating the FDA had agreed it worked, such that they had to issue a statement refuting him)

& he's still saying it:
"But it’s been out there for a long time. So it’s tested in the sense that you know it doesn’t kill you."
~ Trump, Mar 31

if anyone can find him ever suggesting you have to be careful, to check w/ doctor, it does have hazards, etc. feel free to post... i can't even imagine him ever saying so

You guys have expended a lot of words here to try to warp "Trump did not recommend that people consume fish tank cleaner" into meaning something else.

At the end of the day though, "Trump did not recommend that people consume fish tank cleaner" means exactly that. Sorry if your TDS is peaking during self-isolation, but the facts are the facts.

Again, even if Trump got on a stage and said, "CP Medic is a really, really great product, created by some fantastically intelligent people, the really best people, and we're hearing it's a miracle cure for Chinese Flu", it would take them thirty seconds to pull up:

"Chloroquine is very dangerous in overdose. It is rapidly absorbed from the gut. In 1961, a published compilation of case reports contained accounts of three children who took overdoses and died within 2.5 hours of taking the drug. While the amount of the overdose was not stated, the therapeutic index for chloroquine is known to be small.[24] One of the children died after taking 0.75 or 1 gram, or twice a single therapeutic amount for children. Symptoms of overdose include headache, drowsiness, visual disturbances, nausea and vomiting, cardiovascular collapse, seizures, and sudden respiratory and cardiac arrest."

They didn't. They put a whole fucking spoonful in a Coke.

And he didn't. Stop being retarded.

Or how abour this.

If someone decided to vacation in Afghanistan and died during Obamas regime. Since we didn't have a war in Afghanistan during the Obama regime, qe merely had an overseas contingency operation, sounds safe.

I can see it now, post-Corona:

'There's been a very steep increase in depression. And these are great people we are talking about. The best people, doctors and mothers and teachers. The nicest people. But you know what, we have a way to help them. To help all of them. And it's called lithium, you see. And they use it to make batteries. And this works - we know this works and that it does a wonderful job. And we're going to make sure these people, these people who are all terrific Americans, get the help they need'

CNN: several people have been hospitalized and one man in Florida has died in battery related accidents after president trump encouraged Americans to consume lithium to treat their depression

does anyone (non crazy) think Trump's promotion was NOT the reason this woman used the fish cleaner tablets?

i'm not suggesting he be arrested... just his reckless promotion led to the death

(and his reckless carefree promotion was inappropriate, hence why many people are calling it reckless)

Tw . He said an entirely true statement.

They didnt realize there was a difference between medicine and cleaner.

My statement about Lithium is a very apt comparison. If you eat lithium batteries you will likley die. It will not cure your depression.

he just explicitly said 'take it' & 'try it... if you like' (w/ another 'what do you have to lose')

& earlier claimed malaria countries show fewer coronavirus cases... i kinda doubt any malaria country has trustworthy data on coronavirus

so clearly recommending it preventatively

so, expect a rash of chloroquine overdosing, i'd bet...
