Sorry to see that. I don't want to hear a fucking word about the high cost of health insurance from you right wingers.

Bernie and his policies would have been at home in pretty much every other developed country's conservative party.

"Everyone else is doing it" is a pretty shitty argument.

If everyone is doing something – it can’t be that bad.

Oh, I am not arguing for anything. Live as you see fit. This is a comment on how different the definitions we use, commie, socialist, etc, between the US and the rest. This was a good example that I recently read, when Venezuela Maduro's political rival, Guaido was asked on Fox about the renowned american socialist, Ocasio-Cortez .

"he question of the United States’ intentions hung over the crisis in Venezuela, but Guaidó admitted to being hazy on American politics. In Vargas, he took me aside to ask about the 2020 elections. He noted that Bernie Sanders had announced his intention to run, but he knew little about Beto O’Rourke. Asked about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez during a recent Fox Business interview, he had drawn a blank. He’d Googled her afterward, and he told me with a laugh that she didn’t seem all that radical: “What they refer to as socialist in the United States is what we’d call a Social Democrat here.”

Both Sanders and Biden are old and weak and will soon by killed by Corona.
But Trump is the healthiest President ever and will not collapse like Boris Johnson.

Just now all of Biden's voters are dropping like flies. Old black people, that's his most solid voting block.

Also expect 10% of Bernie voters to vote Trump. Estimates I think say 15% but I see 1/3 of them jist not voting.

The flip side is a lot of moderates will vote for biden that would have voted trump or not voted if sanders the extremist was it.

Sam, I can see the ones voting Biden that could have voted Trump if it was Biden.

But not voted? That group of people I dont see Biden inspiring them to vote.

Your choice is now Grandpa Simpson vs a wannabe Caesar.

On the plus side, watching reddit melt down over the news today has been quite satisfying.

Also its amusing to see like half of his online supporters fess up to being non-American. Funny how that's valid election interference, but a couple thousand dollars worth of Facebook ads...

That having been said, while the commie is gone, the party in general has gone full socialist. They need to go down in flames this November.

Random people talking != state sponsored attacks.

Unless you consider your posts here to be election interference in UK elections, of course.

Hood -

At the risk of bruising my own ego, I doubt I've done anything that actually managed to influence anyone in the UK.

In that respect, I'm pretty much on par with the alleged Russian advertising campaign on Facebook.

I'm breaking my 12 year independent/third party streak and voting Biden. Even that stupid old semi-literate fuck is a better choice than Trump.

A classic non-answer mixed with false statements: about as much as one should expect from Rugian.

He announced he was suspending his campaign but he isn't dropping out of the race. He told his supporters to continue to vote for him so he can garner enough delegates to influence the platform. It is wishful thinking by the Democrats that he might actually be going away.

Dayton, Well, in general I think with Biden what your really getting is his team as the real power, which I imagine some people would be in favor of. Biden himself is at the point Reagan was towards the end.

I don't know if Bernie's ideas on social supports were feasible/passable in the USA. But I'm certain the enthusiasm of his supporters will be missed in regard to the now presumptive candidate, Biden.

Trumps chances of winning another term went up considerably without Sanders to contend with.

If Democrats are smart they must find a way to perhaps get Bernie to agree to a VP position? Or some other important cabinet position to attempt to retain at least some of the excitement Bernie seemed able to muster so well over the past number of years.

Fine. Since you're thick as shit, I'll spell out my answer in a way that even a 75 IQ idiot like yourself can understand.

UP is not Facebook or Reddit and it doesnt have even a tiny fraction of the influence that those sites do. From a materialist standpoint, what I say or do here has literally no consequences.

If several thousand European/Latin American socialists are regularly pushing for Bernie Sanders on one of the largest online platforms in the world that's a different matter.

Get it now, or should I use words with fewer syllables?

Lol bernie caves even further and endorses biden.

Its as if millions of enraged moochers and purple haired fat arts majors took to twitter at once and cried.

Why wouldnt he though? In many ways he won the race by pulling the Democratic candidate way to the left. Biden spent last week endorsing Medicare coverage for everyone over 60 as well as tuition-free college and student loan debt cancellation. Plus hes abandoned his support for the Hyde Amendment and "Law and Order" policies and has promised to massively increase government spending and taxation.

On top of that, hes promised a woman VP, which means that by ~2022 we're likely going to have President Warren or Harris in office.

Biden isn't a moderate anymore. Congrats to Bernie, he got the Democratic candidate he wanted.
