It does not matter who does or does not recognize the regime in Venezuela. the current regime remains the defacto government of the country. Hence the plan to "overthrow it". Recognition revolves around various diplomatic arrangements. It does not trigger a free-for-all where anyone can invade. The US should reign in that private security force. In the interests of the rule of law.
