a thread for kargen to answer last thread question

& why he cares about Schiff saying there was evidence of collusion, but not Trump repeatedly suggesting Joe Scarborough is a murderer... or that Obama led some hoax/coup... or any of the many many many other criminal allegations made by Trump that have led nowhere & based on nothing or flimsy shit

...plus a thread to just post more Trump bullshit as kargen won't answer that question

you've been assuming nefarious for four years now.

Schiff took actual actions based on what he said. We had a whole hearing and everything. President Trump talked a lot. If Schiff had simply said a bunch of collusion things and left it at that I would give him the same pass I give President Trump. But no he had to go and act on his lies and deceit.

Remember when I told you what matters is what they do?

There I answered it. You won't like the answer and you will misrepresent the answer if you reply at all.

so Schiff created the Russia investigation & appointed Mueller all on his own?

there was absolutely reason for everything

i don't even know what hearing you are referring to... i'll assume after Mueller as that's only thing i can think of that Schiff would've done related to Russia

Vol 2 is clearly written for someone else to take up the work, there is no other way to read it
'i (& DOJ as a whole) can't make the final conclusion, here's the evidence for those who can'

if you're talking Ukraine, that wasn't Russia at all... and Trump's behavior was wrong as even numerous R's admitted (ZERO R's would've said it was wrong if it was nonsense... ZERO... like exactly ZERO... no other number but ZERO)

"if you think he looks good by comparison to anyone anywhere you are nuts"

There are many many people that look better than President Trump does. Unfortunately the Democrats have decided to go another direction and nominate someone much worse. I'm hoping a third party comes through with a better candidate than what the big two are throwing at us.
If all you are basing your decision on is mental competence and your choices are Biden or President Trump then Trump is your guy.

"hmm, withholding funds if they don't do what he wants... sounds familiar"
Yes it does. Sounds like what President Obama threatened a few times when he was trying to expand Obamacare. Or maybe how President Obama threatened to withhold highway and school funding from North Carolina because of their transgender rights law. Or maybe when he threatened to withhold federal funds to benefit his views on immigration.
Any president threatening to withhold funds is wrong. I'm not saying President Trump gets to do it because President Obama did. You asked if it sounded familiar and it does. I can even remember President Carter doing it to force states to lower the speed limit to 55 and when congress threatened to withhold funding during President Reagan's first term if states didn't raise the drinking age to 21.
Yes it is very familiar and it should not be.

It was/is an executive order and there is no penalty for not following the order. Also the order was for food establishments and pharmacies. Also also the executive order was for employees and customers but the AG asked police to go easy on businesses that are now required to provide workers with masks as they might not have enough masks available.
So as it turns out the executive order doesn't apply to a visitor in a plant that makes cars. He still should have worn a mask though.

The executive order does have a provision that says people who can't wear a mask for medical or health related issues are exempt. So I suppose you can whip up some kind of conspiracy about the medical reason President Trump didn't wear a mask.

the presser w/ the current piece of shit press secretary (CPoSPS) ended by her calling on the OANN 'reporter' who asked if Trump has considered pardoning Obama (to just make it seem established that Obama has committed crimes), then the CPoSPS put up slides she had prepped w/ questions reporters should be asking w/ the standard spin on 'Obamagate'

seems like probable collusion

also... we officially have our own NK pink lady... the CPoSPS seems to have gotten progressively worse each change, there is absolutely no chance of this one admitting any remotely negative thing & will push whatever bullshit Trump comes up with (not terribly different than the past ones but this one is a zealot... posting bible stuff on twitter along w/ her Trump love)

a) Biden was asked the question by a voter, not a propaganda network plant

b) Trump is already involved in multiple investigations (real ones)... he was individual-1 in the Cohen case & more guilty than Cohen, he committed obstruction of justice via Mueller Vol 2, & there are multiple other investigations ongoing

c) this is what Biden said:
"It is not something the president is entitled to do, to direct a prosecution or decide to drop a case. It's a dereliction of duty."

=========

the OANN 'reporter' actually did name crimes...

http://twitter.com/Bakari_Sellers/status/1263950885559906305

"...pardoning Obama for illegally wiretapping Trump Tower & illegally spying on US citizens & other potential crimes..."

the CPoSPS did -not- respond with 'what the fuck are you talking about?' instead she had pre-made slides about 'Obamagate'

Obama illegally wiretapping Trump Tower was a bullshit claim by Trump from years ago... not even sure what nonsense that's supposed to refer to... the 'illegal spying' is probably Carter Page or Flynn, neither determined to be illegal afaik, & certainly wouldn't be Obama being charged, he wasn't the one issuing FISA applications & Flynn wasn't illegally spied on, the Russian ambassador was properly spied on & Flynn kept talking to him

that 'reporter' also breaks the rules of the White House Correspondents Association, but i'm sure she'll be there every single time to feed questions as needed

Trump always has positive promotion of them

Fox News he gets angry at if they have any Dems on or show bad poll numbers for him or when Cavuto cracks & can't take his ridiculous unfitness anymore periodically... probably no chance of that stuff on OANN

"What reason is there for churches to have more restrictions on them than businesses? "

Rugian is correct. There is no reason to treat churches differentry than other businesses. Since it is a business. I don't know what category of business, I'd pick entertainment but whatever. And in current situation, churches should be permitted to open when all other businesses in that category are allowed to reopen. So once movie theaters are allowed to reopen, for example
tumbleweed

Sat May 23 15:38:11
-from your California article:

"In-person religious services, along with hair and nail salons and movie theaters, aren't eyed until stage three, and even then, there will be limits on the size of gatherings, according to published materials on the plan."

- from your Virginia article:

"As in several of the cases, a federal judge in Virginia ruled against the church earlier this month, saying Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam's social-distancing order did not single out religious practices for discriminatory treatment but instead prohibits "all social gatherings of more than 10 individuals, secular and religious.”"

- from your Minnesota article:

"Leaders of two of Minnesota’s largest faith groups are planning to resume indoor worship services next week in defiance of the governor’s order, saying it’s “extreme and prejudicial” to put religious gatherings in a reopening category similar to that of tattoo parlors or hair salons and subject them to limits stricter than those placed on retail stores."

-------------

so all ^those suggest churches not put beneath all other businesses

-------------

"but theres a lot of anger that's been growing here. Trump is just giving those people a voice."

do all these places meet 'the president's guidelines for reopening'?... i hope one day we find out what president that was

Problem is that freedom of religion is a First Amendment issue. Last time I checked, that puts them slightly above tattoo parlors and salons in the pecking order.

Here's another example...Kansas:

"...two churches in Kansas reached a settlement with Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly after they sued over her 10-person limit for religious services and a federal judge had ruled the state appeared to have "singled out" religious activities for "stricter treatment." Now, the churches can hold those services so long as they abide by protocols for businesses and other establishments, such as providing hand sanitizer and face masks and requiring proper social distancing."

Heck, how about a fifth...Kentucky:

"Federal judge rules all Kentucky churches can have in-person services starting this Sunday"

(note also that Kentucky was the state that infamously handed out tickets for parishioners attending DRIVE-IN religious services on Easter Sunday...meanwhile no such penalties for shopping at your local Wal Mart)
tumbleweed
the wanderer
Sat May 23 16:18:22
well thank Trump for Kansas having a Dem governor... was an R before 2018... and heavy R voters

i would assume the Kansas restrictions were NOT specific only to churches just like the other states... the "so long as they abide by protocols for businesses and other establishments" probably refers to the ones w/ least restrictions

& i'll guess same for Kentucky for that matter

also, i don't believe Trump cited first amendment, i believe he went w/ the argument that they are 'essential' businesses (thus deserved the favored treatment)

some Trump comments:
"We want our churches open. We want our places of faith, synagogues — we want them open. And that’s going to start happening. I consider them essential, and that’s one of the things we’re saying. We’re going to make that essential."
&
“Governors need to do the right thing and allow these very important essential places of faith to open right now — for this weekend”

so if this is a simple first amendment issue, why not go w/ that rather than threaten a non-existent power of his?

Trump is disgusting filth... there's no reason to think he even misread something about voting Pelosi... he just MAKES STUFF UP on a regular basis

no one should support him... no one... if you don't like the Dems, find someone else... a mature adult who can state an accurate piece of information... realllly low bar shit

The opening of a Cold Case against Psycho Joe Scarborough was not a Donald Trump original thought, this has been going on for years, long before I joined the chorus. In 2016 when Joe & his wacky future ex-wife, Mika, would endlessly interview me, I would always be thinking....

....about whether or not Joe could have done such a horrible thing? Maybe or maybe not, but I find Joe to be a total Nut Job, and I knew him well, far better than most. So many unanswered & obvious questions, but I won’t bring them up now! Law enforcement eventually will?

There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent. Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed. The Governor of California is sending Ballots to millions of people, anyone...

...living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got there, will get one. That will be followed up with professionals telling all of these people, many of whom have never even thought of voting before, how, and for whom, to vote. This will be a Rigged Election. No way!

remember when i said Trump would say the election was rigged w/ massive fraud voting? cause i did (not that it just started w/ that tweet)

& we'll get another 5+ months of this, safe to say the majority of his fans won't accept the results if he loses after being pounded w/ claims of fraud voting

& perhaps setting up his excuse for losing popular vote massively again, as can't imagine he thinks California in play (although they -did- try to pretend he was turning California red w/ that 'flipped a district for first time in 20 whatever years' nonsense)

Mr. Dorsey: [head of Twitter]

Nearly 19 years ago, my wife, who had an undiagnosed heart condition, fell and hit her head on her desk at work. She was found dead the next morning. Her name is Lori Kaye Klausutis and she was 28 years old when she died. Her passing is the single most painful thing that I have ever had to deal with in my 52 years and continues to haunt her parents and sister.

I have mourned my wife every day since her passing. I have tried to honor her memory and our marriage. As her husband, I feel that one of my marital obligations is to protect her memory as I would have protected her in life. There has been a constant barrage of falsehoods, half-truths, innuendo and conspiracy theories since the day she died. I realize that may sound like an exaggeration, unfortunately it is the verifiable truth. Because of this, I have struggled to move forward with my life.

The frequency, intensity, ugliness, and promulgation of these horrifying lies ever increases on the internet. These conspiracy theorists, including most recently the President of the United States, continue to spread their bile and misinformation on your platform disparaging the memory of my wife and our marriage. President Trump on Tuesday tweeted to his nearly 80 million followers alluding to the repeatedly debunked falsehood that my wife was murdered by her boss, former U.S. Rep. Joe Scarborough. The son of the president followed and more directly attacked my wife by tweeting to his followers as the means of spreading this vicious lie.

I’m sure you are aware of this situation because media around the world have covered it, but just in case, here it is:

My request is simple: Please delete these tweets.

I’m a research engineer and not a lawyer, but I’ve reviewed all of Twitter’s rules and terms of service. The President’s tweet that suggests that Lori was murdered — without evidence (and contrary to the official autopsy) — is a violation of Twitter’s community rules and terms of service. An ordinary user like me would be banished from the platform for such a tweet but I am only asking that these tweets be removed.

I am now angry as well as frustrated and grieved. I understand that Twitter’s policies about content are designed to maintain the appearance that your hands are clean you provide the platform and the rest is up to users. However, in certain past cases, Twitter has removed content and accounts that are inconsistent with your terms of service.

I’m asking you to intervene in this instance because the President of the United States has taken something that does not belong to him — the memory of my dead wife — and perverted it for perceived political gain. I would also ask that you consider Lori’s niece and two nephews who will eventually come across this filth in the future. They have never met their Aunt and it pains m eto think they would ever have to “learn” about her this way.

My wife deserves better.

Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Timothy J. Klausutis, Ph.D

fucking ridiculous that it's the PRESIDENT doing this shit... please cite his evidence that Joe murdered her (he's given none, he posted an article from a shit website that cited the supervisor of the medical examiner donated to Joe's campaign - wow... - & other equally meaningless 'evidence')

just name anyone who is joining Trump in his ridiculous claims

of the ~20 other R candidates in 2016, who among them might also be accusing Joe of murder?... who among them would be telling people to take hydroxychloroquine as it can't harm you & 'what the hell do you have to lose' & claiming it helps protect you from the virus based on phone calls he's received... who among them would take Putin's word over our intel agencies (plus like Putin's idea of Russia joining our cyber security unit, plus like Putin's idea of Russia joining the investigation of election interference)... plus be easily manipulated by Saudis, China, North Korea, Israel... & love incompetent leaders like Brazil's while attacking all our traditional allies... (& barely scratching the surface here)

Partnering with the biased fake news media ‘fact checkers’ is only a smoke screen Twitter is using to try to lend their obvious political tactics some false credibility.

There are many reasons the Trump campaign pulled all our advertising from Twitter months ago, and their clear political bias is one of them.“

"
Republicans feel that Social Media Platforms totally silence conservatives voices. We will strongly regulate, or close them down, before we can ever allow this to happen. We saw what they attempted to do, and failed, in 2016. We can’t let a more sophisticated version of that...

....happen again. Just like we can’t let large scale Mail-In Ballots take root in our Country. It would be a free for all on cheating, forgery and the theft of Ballots. Whoever cheated the most would win. Likewise, Social Media. Clean up your act, NOW!!!!

i'll amend prior comment on warrantless surveillance... i don't -think- it applies to anyone in Trump campaign but not positive (as Page had a warrant, or at least what has been called a warrant):

this was Justin Amash's reply to Trump's shouting about warrantless surveillance:

"He literally signed warrantless surveillance of Americans into law on January 19, 2018, with the reauthorization of FISA 702."

so Rugian can blame Trump (& kargen can care too as it was a giant marker signature)
