Michigan AG says " the president is acting like a petulant child" in his refusal to wear a mask.

Trump should have been handled like this

When will people learn to just wear the mask and casual steal to vent your frustrations.

Wow is that AG a cunt. Leaving aside the fact that masks are of questionable benefit, she's clearly on a power trip right now. Bitch, you shouldn't have the right to "order" any American what to wear, much less the President.

This virus really has brought out the mini-dictator in a lot of (mostly Democratic) politicians.

If someone enters your house and you have house rules that say everyone needs to be masked. Then you should have the courtesy to obey their rules. Don't be pissed if they tell you to leave.

Same with smoking.

Michigan is not the AG's "house."

Although it's telling that you think the government is the possessor of the land and people it presides over. No wonder you vote Democrat.

Today I learned that Rugian thinks the president is above the law. And he has the gall to say other people are mini-dictators.

Rugian,
I wasn't talking about the State of Michigan. I was talking about Trumps disrespect of Ford Motor Company policy and house rules.

I can just picture Trump walking into a room where oxygen is being administered to a patient and him puffing on a big cigar. Of course that also evokes another picture in my mind of a pig taking a shit.

In all fairness, the CEO of Ford said it was up to Trump whether or not he wore a mask.

In all fairness, Trump putting his ego before people's well-being is psychopathic. Whether Ford's CEO felt it best to appease the madman or not, nothing is appropriate about Trump's behavior here.

"Asked by a reporter why he was not wearing a mask, Trump said he had one on in another area of the plant "where they preferred it" during the tour, but took it off before coming before reporters, the pool report said.

“I didn’t want to give the press the pleasure of seeing it,” Trump said."

Why should trump wear a mask? Why aren't reporters keeping their distance?

Have you considered burying yourself alive hood? Should keep you safe from trump indefinitely

The classic sociopathic response. The "people better avoid my reckless behavior if they don't want to get hurt!" bullshit. In the real world, we call it negligence. If you fuck around with a gun and accidentally shoot someone, it's still your fucking fault. That Trump is fucking with a viral payload rather than a lead one is immaterial.

"Today I learned that Rugian thinks the president is above the law. And he has the gall to say other people are mini-dictators."

There is no law saying a visitor must wear a mask inside a plant in Michigan. The law is for food establishments and pharmacies and the AG knows that. She is counting on most the population being either lazy or stupid and as it turns out many are.

Section 15. Anyone in public (aka not in their own home) must wear a mask. Employers must provide "face-coverings" (masks) for all in-person work.

Unless it is your claim that executive orders aren't legal (goodbye 95% of Trump's time as president), you're just plain fucking stupid. Trump clearly violated the Michigan executive order.

Find any quote by me that is even remotely close to that retarded notion, pillz, and I'll be more than happy to say you were right about something for the first time ever.

Until then, stick to managing the pasta aisle.

"Anyone in public (aka not in their own home) must wear a mask. Employers must provide "face-coverings" (masks) for all in-person work."

Ford plant isn't a public area. Nice try though. Oh and that executive order was no longer valid as of May 15th. And as it turns out the quote you provided isn't even a part of document in the link you provided.

Did you see any quotes in my post? It was around 2 words, yeah? Clearly I was not quoting, but instead paraphrasing.

"Ford plant isn't a public area."

It is for the purpose of the order. That's why I included the bit about employers being compelled to provide, as the order phrased it, "face coverings" (because, you know, that's an actual quote, thus it is in quotes; it wasn't the UP ironic quotation).

Also:
http://www...er-through-june-12/5247671002/

You're either highly retarded or grasping at straws if you seriously thought "[it's] no longer valid as of May 15th" (and that, again, is indeed a quote of what you said; cause it's in quotes). But any sane person knows that you're BOTH highly retarded and grasping at straws. It's especially funny since the order was literally upheld by the Michigan courts literally today (the 22nd). You're just so fucking wrong.

Seems if it expired the 15th and was only held up by the courts today, trump had no executive order to abide by.

Habebe "In all fairness, the CEO of Ford said it was up to Trump whether or not he wore a mask."

In all fairness Ford got a huge contract to build things to battle Coronavirus. Trump could snap his fingers and cancel the deal. It's called holding the upper hand. Or blackmail.

The CEO also said that while Trump and him were walking away in direct response to a reporter's question.

It looked like a "the fucktard does whatever the hell he wants. What do you want me to do? Fight through the secret service and forcibly place a mask over his mouth?" kind of comment.

Face masks are the ultimate form of virtue signalling. Their have minimal actual benefit, but wearing one conveys the message that you're "doing your part" to fight the virus. It's such bullshit.

As for the states that mandate them, that's just a case of politicians letting out their inner authoritarianism. Such directives are idiotic and should be rejected wholesale by the public (which includes the president - Hood you moron).

Tom, Ok, but I mean what are wr supposed to do? That is actually whatnthe ceo said, he made the call to say fuck it, he could have ignored the question.

As for the employers bit, Trump went against the intent of the order. No disputing that.

If you want to get technical, I dont know that Trump.would be considered a " worker" but je definitley went against the intent and did so on purpose, but does anyone really care?

Coincidentally there have been leaked photos of him wearing a madk at the plant.

Why so PC? You could have said the same thing about washing hands.

Masks are something we should consider mainstreaming. Because flu and also facial recognition.

Suddenly a legitimate way to set State Security surveillance back a decade, and you whine.

Lets see if Ruggy has the integrity to say: My god jergul, I had not thought of how masks hinder facial recognition. Hurra masks

Washing your hands has actual value in terms of fighting Wuhan flu.

And you can't put a mask on a phone, so forget the surveillance argument.

Yup, casually steal. I'll be stocking up extension cords soon.

I incidentally don't have much respect for people who self-chip themselves by always carrying a cellphone.

Mine is with me about 50% of the time out of home. People get used to not having jergul-on-demand. Its good for them.

Okay, sure. In the event that I'm walking around the city without a phone or debit/credit cards, a mask might be useful in lessening my chance of being tagged by mass surveillance.

Of course that would only happen if I was unemployed and homeless.

Happy?

The best way to not be tracked by mass surveillance is to not have mass surveillance in the first place. Bans on the usage of such technology are the most effective deterrent against their abuse.

You would have to be unemployed and homeless before even considering leaving home without your wallet and cellphone?

I do it all the time. I don't need to always be able to buy stuff.

Well, not the only way. Remember im an ex tweaker and criminal.

Faraway cages/bags etc. As long as you keep anything that will track you through some sort of radio signal basically line your bags or anything with copper mesh/foil. You also womt set off the alarms in stores when you steal there extension cords....lol.

Be careful that you don't cut yourself with all that stabbing in the dark.

I try to get in 50 km of walking or skiing a week. Wife is currently torturing me with her new idea: Nordic walk. Its brutal uphill.

Check out the topography of the island to see there is a lot of uphill.

"Their have minimal actual benefit"

The benefits are real, just not for the user. Masks not only do a reasonable job of preventing potential spread from the wearer, but their inconvenience is minimal. Refusal to wear one is an incredibly sociopathic move.

"As for the states that mandate them, that's just a case of politicians letting out their inner authoritarianism."

No, you're just clinically retarded and in denial of reality. Also, such directives are entirely legal and medically recommended.

If any of you are so sure that masks are useless, the next time you or a loved one is about to undergo surgery. Insist that the surgeon and all other OR personnel go maskless.

"Face masks are the ultimate form of virtue signalling. Their have minimal actual benefit, but wearing one conveys the message that you're "doing your part" to fight the virus. It's such bullshit. "

This is not true. Wearing a mask when at the grocery store for example, has enough benefit to merit asking people to wear them. Outside, or in a large well ventilated area they are pointless.
