Biden doesn't tweet like President Trump does. It would be unrealistic to expect the same number of fact checks.
Same percentage sure. Thing is there is no way we can know the number of fact checked posts. Isn't like Twitter gives a thumbs up to posts they checked and found to be true.

If the FISA Bill is passed tonight on the House floor, I will quickly VETO it. Our Country has just suffered through the greatest political crime in its history. The massive abuse of FISA was a big part of it!
"
~ the fucking moron

even if you think 'obamagate' is a real scandal... FISA was NOT a big part of it, ONLY used on Carter Page (a nobody that led to nothing & started nothing as he's a nothing, his family should disown him)

even kargen should care about this one as involves a signature, the fucking moron is making a decision based on faulty information

"The surveillance tools have long been a concern for Trump who believes the intelligence community improperly abused the FISA court to surveil his former adviser Carter Page. A Department of Justice Inspector General report found the FBI made repeated errors and misrepresentations before the FISA Court in an effort to obtain the warrants against Page. Meanwhile, progressives and libertarians also wanted more privacy reforms to protect individual liberties."

So President Trump has the same concern you have. And you thought you would never agree with him.

"
How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!
"
~Trump (Mar 2017)

& he has stuck to that bullshit narrative continually (as is typical for him)... grabbing & misrepresenting every fragment of info he could come across over the years

he completely misrepresented the IG report acting like it confirmed his stories when it in fact refuted them across the board... of course Fox seized on the FISA complaints as that was all that was in it to work with... it was not a lynchpin of the investigation, and it was not found to be politically motivated or corrupt, but you have to spin what you can

so Trump is -STILL- in that mode (more than ever really)

it's not like if you ask him to explain his problems w/ FISA he's going to say "Well, I feel they were a bit careless in their application on Carter Page and I need to see reforms done" (as any adult could do)

it'd be his standard 'THIS CAN NEVER HAPPEN TO ANOTHER PRESIDENT! OBAMA TARGETED MY CAMPAIGN! BIGGEST CRIME IN HISTORY!'

this is not a person who should be making decisions... on anything

(he had the same no-info on cancelling the Iran Deal btw... all he could state is 'we gave them $150 billion & got nothing' - which is a wrong & misleading figure, obviously, as Trump said it... plus he'd add the cash payment via plane that wasn't even part of the deal... that was it... he never said anything else about it)

in summary / TLDR:

Trump is attacking FISA to get revenge on something that didn't happen*
(& actually affecting policy, not just speaking)

*proof it didn't happen: i've asked it before & got no answer, but how in the fuck would fraudulently spying on Carter Page lead to removing Trump? especially since the premise is there was no reason to spy on him... they didn't frame him, so they just hoped he'd turn out to be a Russian spy? and even if they got lucky on that extreme long shot, then what? the most insignificant member of team Trump was a spy... so R's would then impeach Trump? that was their best plan of attack? that was what was worth crossing legal lines for? ... the story makes no sense, at all, none

they spied on Carter Page as he was shifty & suspicious in his Russia dealings, that story makes sense

The swift move in opposition to the FISA renewal was all the more remarkable because the bill the House was voting on Wednesday was largely the same measure that passed 278-136 in March, with 126 Republicans voting in favor. Those voting yes included McCarthy and some of Trump's closest House allies, Reps. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Devin Nunes of California, who had negotiated a bipartisan deal on reauthorizing the FISA provisions with Attorney General William Barr and Democratic leaders.

The only change made to the bill was the addition of a Senate bipartisan amendment from GOP Sen. Mike Lee of Utah and Democratic Sen. Pat Leahy of Vermont, which added additional legal protections and review to the FISA court process.

This is why I honestly cant stand you tw. You think a bad bill should be passed just so Republicans can buck Trump.

Here's a thought. Maybe Trump changing the GOPs mind is a GOOD thing. Maybe hes being a force for good here in getting a bad bill struck down. And maybe I'd rather have DC change their minds on this bill now, rather than stick with their "principles" and maintain their support for bad legislation.

That's the problem with your perpetual "orange man bad" mentality. By focusing exclusively on Trump, you ignore the fact that DC has a lot of bad elements as well, and that Trump at least manages to be a force for disruption on that front.

Gen. James Mattis:

"
In Union There Is Strength

I have watched this week’s unfolding events, angry and appalled. The words “Equal Justice Under Law” are carved in the pediment of the United States Supreme Court. This is precisely what protesters are rightly demanding. It is a wholesome and unifying demand—one that all of us should be able to get behind. We must not be distracted by a small number of lawbreakers. The protests are defined by tens of thousands of people of conscience who are insisting that we live up to our values—our values as people and our values as a nation.

When I joined the military, some 50 years ago, I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Never did I dream that troops taking that same oath would be ordered under any circumstance to violate the Constitutional rights of their fellow citizens—much less to provide a bizarre photo op for the elected commander-in-chief, with military leadership standing alongside.

We must reject any thinking of our cities as a “battlespace” that our uniformed military is called upon to “dominate.” At home, we should use our military only when requested to do so, on very rare occasions, by state governors. Militarizing our response, as we witnessed in Washington, D.C., sets up a conflict—a false conflict—between the military and civilian society. It erodes the moral ground that ensures a trusted bond between men and women in uniform and the society they are sworn to protect, and of which they themselves are a part. Keeping public order rests with civilian state and local leaders who best understand their communities and are answerable to them.

James Madison wrote in Federalist 14 that “America united with a handful of troops, or without a single soldier, exhibits a more forbidding posture to foreign ambition than America disunited, with a hundred thousand veterans ready for combat.” We do not need to militarize our response to protests. We need to unite around a common purpose. And it starts by guaranteeing that all of us are equal before the law.

Instructions given by the military departments to our troops before the Normandy invasion reminded soldiers that “The Nazi slogan for destroying us…was ‘Divide and Conquer.’ Our American answer is ‘In Union there is Strength.’” We must summon that unity to surmount this crisis—confident that we are better than our politics.

Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people—does not even pretend to try. Instead he tries to divide us. We are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership. We can unite without him, drawing on the strengths inherent in our civil society. This will not be easy, as the past few days have shown, but we owe it to our fellow citizens; to past generations that bled to defend our promise; and to our children.

We can come through this trying time stronger, and with a renewed sense of purpose and respect for one another. The pandemic has shown us that it is not only our troops who are willing to offer the ultimate sacrifice for the safety of the community. Americans in hospitals, grocery stores, post offices, and elsewhere have put their lives on the line in order to serve their fellow citizens and their country. We know that we are better than the abuse of executive authority that we witnessed in Lafayette Square. We must reject and hold accountable those in office who would make a mockery of our Constitution. At the same time, we must remember Lincoln’s “better angels,” and listen to them, as we work to unite.

Only by adopting a new path—which means, in truth, returning to the original path of our founding ideals—will we again be a country admired and respected at home and abroad.

hmm, seems when he went to sign whatever he was signing after that rambling that included George, he was asked about plans for racial justice or whatever and he cited a good economy.. so I will again assume that's what he was referring to as being a great day for George as the jobs report is all he's been hyping and none of what Rugian noted

and about that jobs report: an expert noted a lot could be from rehirings to take advantage of the modified PPP and not actually people going back to work (which makes sense). I'm more sure than ever about Trump's "George" comments... it was 10am in the morning and he's saying -today- is a great day for him:

"This is a great day for him, it's a great day for everybody. … This is a great, great day in terms of equality. "

the only thing he'd been touting (and done massively right before the event on twitter) that occurred today was the jobs report. Plus he says specifically 'in terms of equality'. Then when he signs the thing his response about plan for solving racism is that a good economy is the best thing for all races & and using the 'what's been happening' language. (He's never been talking positively about protesters or wanting any police reform)

When the U.S. government's official jobs report for May came out on Friday, it included a note at the bottom saying there had been a major "error" and the unemployment rate likely should be higher than the widely report 13.3 percent rate.

The special note said that if this misclassification error had not occurred, the "overall unemployment rate would have been about 3 percentage points higher than reported," meaning the unemployment rate would be about 16.3 percent for May.

yeah, i'm sure that story will happen

and tweeted Matt Schlapp (more garbage) saying:
"I will never buy another NFL ticket until they go back to playing football and stop dividing America."
so that critical issue of kneeling before the game ever starts is back

regarding Minnessota:
"When I insisted on the National Guard, things got better FAST."

he never 'insisted' on Nat'l Guard, and he only recommended it after Governor already had ordered it (i was watching the news at that time, i can confirm it myself)

=============

lots of fear-mongering about 'defund the police'... and acknowledgment that Biden said he was not supporting it (after lying that he was... first was just flat lying that he supported it, then saying silence meant he supported it) but now that he's said he doesn't support it listing issues he allegedly flip-flopped on so implying he'll flip-flop

- easily manipulated (completely trusts any dictator/autocrat or TV personality who praises or pampers him)

- a liar & fraud (everything he says about himself & accomplishments, his entire life story & all his business models)
