Warrior Nun isn't too bad. Not bad acting.

Since I like horses I really got into Heartland but still waiting for season 12 and 13.

Longmier was real good.

anyone watched The Informer, on Netflix? Is it any good, I am ambivalent on should I try watching it. And why do i recall that someone from UP used to be personally aquainted with joel Kinnaman? Some swede, no doubt, faithless maybe?

Oh, if you can get it on Netflix or something, Line of Duty is great. Police procedural thriller.

Im out in the boonies , I have satellite internet which like cell data slows down after so much use, except they give me a bunch between 2-7 AM so I usually just download torrents overnight and save them to SD cards, streaming works but it eats up data.

But I can get pretty much anything...hoping Musk will have superior internet sooner than later.

This is strong evidence that the show is actually very good and you'll enjoy all three seasons. The TC multi has horrible taste.

And it definitely is as good as advertised.

Wrath, So far so good, I seen like half of the first season, for a show with most of the main characters being kids ota surprisingly good.

Plus I love a good nostalgic throwback to the 80s/90s.

You can always watch a ten year timelapse of the sun from 2010 to 2020. It’s only an hour long.

Paramount, There is a movie that used to be on Netflix called dirt. I thought maybe it was ironically named or something. Nope ots literally like an hour and a half long documentary on dirt(s).

Even with weed I couldn't brimg myself to watch more than a little bit of it.

So TC wasn't 100% wrong, but season 3 was, different...

You can't really compare the seasons against each other cause they serve different purposes.

The original story could have been wrapped up at the end of season 2, and originally the series was supposed to be like AHS where each season was different and plays put like a long movie. They changed that after they realized they had good chemistry.

Character development, foreshadowing, chemistry, great world building the show has it all and fantastic music/audio...
All around a well thought out and executed program.

Season 3 changes in a few ways. For starters the kids are just getting older amd a good part of the story os a coming of age story but season 3 just shows the kids hit puberty and quick.

Next the writing does start to have a " we must go bigger and better feel" which can be a downfall IMO to many shows, sometimes jist a well written different adventure is enough, you dont have to top last season and go bigger.

I enjoyed the new characters that didn't feel forced, the blended in well. But the writing did get sloppy, small things but Ill give an example.

At one point they shoot a bunch of guards with a spray and pray method and then Don there uniforms , high habe no bullet holes or blood nor do they show how they disposed of the bodies.....

I still don't fully understand the rats but in all fairness I had a lot of distractions during season 3

So I did.soer of watxh it in the background a good deal of the time.

Lodge 49, originally on amc but is now on hlu, also a good show. Very under watched. It has the humor sensibilities of The Big Lebowski, with heart and honesty.

Sounds good.Ill look into it. Finished up Silicon Valley finally. It's a shame they never brought back Ehrlich.

Hulu had an original show, one of there first called the last booth at the end. It was only 2 seasons long and was all story/dialogue driven but was great, you almost forget how low budget it was, being entirley filmed in a dinner.

Ehrlich got fired cause he is a liability in real life. He beat up an uber driver cause the driver voted for trump. He is a dickhead.

I watched The Great, on Hulu. First episode was surprisingly funny. Its loosely based on Peter, Czar of Russia, but as loose as Billah's most recent conquest.

I’ve been watching Emily in Paris. It is pretty silly sometime but still kinda good. The first 1-3 episodes are meh but it gets a little bit better after that.

Raised by wolves was really good actually. I think the writing could have been done better for clarities sake. And allegiances seem to switch too quickly with little explanation but great concept, it seemed to get better as things went on and the end twist was cool plenry of interesting underlying references.

I'm close to finishing season two of Jessica Jones. Been thinking for a few episodes now that someone should just put several bullets in the head of mom and let everyone be on their way.

I liked season one.

I need to get back to Sneaky Pete sometime.

I'm thinking about starting Farscape again. Started watching it a long time ago but didn't get very far into it.

i been bingin sneaky pete.

haha i wodnered what happened 2 that dude. i remember him from boilerroom and avatar.

dumduuumduuum just trussssstttttt in me
truussssstttt in meeeeeeeeeeee....

despite that quirky and catchy song though, shits sometimes seems like low budgety. despite being produced by the breakinbad dude? anyway great performance from boilerroom dude.

but overal, the other actors arent so experienced.

6.5 out of 10.

farscape hasnt aged well nowadays man. better binge stargate, stargate atlantis, or stargate universe.

Is Dexter still going to be a lumberjack? Are they bringing it back to try and fix the absolute shitpile it became in the last two seasons?

Jessica Jones was so slow moving I could not watch it.

Just watched the Mandalorian...

MILD SPOILER WARNING

So this show seems to be playing out like an old school RPG game, almost every episode he goes somewhere to get something/someone and instead he ends up going on a mini mission entirley unrelated to the main story.

Like I get its a series, so they have to stretch it out more, but this useless quest shit is getting old.

Genuinely curious, what else would you do with that show?

He is a wandering gun slinger, i cant imagine they can do much more with him. It would be cool to see him face off against an untrained force user though. Itd be like the man of science and technology facing off against a mage.

Just watched sleepy hollow (the film). Forgot how much fun it is. No sex, no cussing, no over the top gore (talking about gore porn). Just good old fashioned head chopping that a family can enjoy during halloween.

Also i wonder how upset casper van dien is for peaking before the super hero films hit. If he had his run around 2007/2009 i could 100% see him cast somewhere in the mcu. Maybe even captain america.

Christina Ricci always looks good.

I mean I'm not really sure what I expected from Man do.

I still like the show, and I expected this would be some of it, but I guess I thought it would be more of a longer story arc atleast like Dexter where each season played out like a 10 hour movie, this is a different setting each week, different people on a random subquest.

I mean, it did add to the story. Without giving it away what he got helped introduce an old SW character.

Well lets be honest, not every season of dexter was a major story arc. In the first season the ice truck killer wasnt introduced to the story until like halfway through the season (i think but my alcohol drenched brain could be wrong).

My overall point though is that mandy doesnt really have legs. Star wars in general has a pretty small universe. Empire bad, rebels good. Thats about it. But Disney will milk that cow till it dies of dehydration.
habebe

Sat Oct 31 10:12:48
If they dip into nom canon ( which they do a lot) for mando, there is a shit load of possibility to draw from. I shouldn't expect HBO sryle from Disney though, I still like the show.

The only Star Trek worth watching is The Next Generation, and then only season 3 and beyond.
