Well, Lovecraft country has been disappointing. It tries too hard to push a narrative. The soundtrack isn't terrible but it's used poorly.

The Mandalorian starts up Oct. 30th.

I wish we had an air date for The Dark Crystal: AoR.

Ibty, meh, its watchable but it doesnt keep my attention. It's more about fighting for racial equality than it is sci-fi. I mean if thats what you want its not bad, but I wanted fantasy/sci-fi.You could do both, but this seems forced rather than organic.

Hannibal is a pretty good show if you dont mind graphic scenes. Its on Netflix

I agree, the boys is pretty damn good

I think lovecraft country can either be great or be shitty, it depends on the writers. The previous episode eith the haunted house was terribe. But the pilot was great.

Hannibal is the most overrated show. The graphic nature of it is the shows only redeeming quality.

the boyz is pretty okish, it has a good one punch man vibe and really is a satire of ur pathetic country, basically they holdin a mirror 2 ur face and show u how corrupt it all is, lol its hilarious as hell how egotistical and self absorbed and corrupt ur country is.

everythings about u u, u, u,u, u. lol.
ur just 4% of da world population and it sure as hell aint about u.

that being said, da first few episodes were much better than the middle and final episodes...unfortunately.

the stench of da first few episodes were awesome but later on they made it so that da superheros have da own problems and wanted u 2 sympathize with them or something....fuck that shit.

season 2 trailer looks interestin.

Secrets in the Ice looks cool, its a documentary series going around looking at recently unfrozen shit... From what Ive read.

Really wish s2 of the Dark crystal was out, but it's been delayed.

They canceled Penny Dreadfull LA, which is a shame it was good.

Nothing has taken the place of Game of Thrones... Coincidentally Id heard about it on these forums a few months before it came out.

I’m going to watch Unknown Soldier.

The Unknown Soldier (Finnish: Tuntematon sotilas, Swedish: Okänd soldat) is a 2017 Finnish war drama independent film and the third adaption of the 1954 bestselling Finnish classic novel of the same name by Väinö Linna, a book considered part of national legacy.

The World War II film follows a machine gun company (Finnish: konekiväärikomppania) of the Finnish Army from a frog perspective during the Continuation War between Finland and the Soviet Union from 1941 to 1944.

I have no idea what dune is about... Wasnt that a video game at some point?

Watched Cobra Kai, awesome.Hope Netflix keeps it going well.

You know what movie could have been done well but was horrible? Warcraft, it was epic how terrible it was, it really needs to be re done, like. Netflix series would suit it well.

The boys is ok, decent story, the premise is great it does seem to get dragged out at times though.

If you like survival shows " alone" was good. I wish you could take the 10 people on alone though and have them start like a small village together for a year. The stuff they accomplish alone is coo), imagine 10 allowed to work together.

I think the BBC used to have a show abput people living in the iron age or something.

We need a new live action Ninja Turtle show, or atleast a movie.

One where the turtles have the dimensions closer to the original movie.

Some good writers and maybe the Jim Henson company to assist.

http://weg...ink-netflixs-legend-zelda/amp/

This was suppose to happen years ago they called it Zelda meets Gots and it was to be luve action.

Now there is plenty of lore in the Zeldaverse to draw from and most of it is vague on details. Different races/gods/lands and 12 cannon incarnations of Link to pick from, Most notably the Hero of Legend and the Hero of Time.

Plenty of good source material for good writers and very little set in stone stories so its flexible.

TC found a new one.

im 2 episodes in and although da ratings werent that high, im actually quite enjoyin it so far. ofc all this culd change if they fuck it up.

the premisse is simple. we all seen da movie passengers right. thats more like a romantic kinda movie thingie.

but what if u turn it into a horrorish/ thrillerish thingie. oh and make it into a series.

thats what happened here. origin its called.

the date is somewhere far in da future. a new planet is 2 be colonized. volunteers get put in cryosleep or whatever.

they wake up and find all crew gone. and something strange has happened.

enjoyable so far.

so i ended up bingin this shit for 5 episodes yesterday.

not bad.

i mean, we been deprived of a good alien/ space movie 4 too long so this shit will do 4 now.

theres very little character interaction, thats my biggest critic.
like durin a certain scene, da 2 white boys were scared of this asian guy, but why. they dunt know he is yakuza. we as viewers do, but they dunt. so they got no reason 2 be scared of him, they also barely interacted before so why.

It was an inartful response to a loaded question. The "reporter" essentially asked him "when you lose in November, will you commit to a peaceful transition of power?"

We all know what Trump was trying to say. The fact that the press willingly went with the sensational "zomg Trump hates democracy!" take just shows what scumbags they are.

6.8 out of 10.

Ok, So Ive watched 2 seasons of Westworld.

Season 1 was amazing. You really have to pay attention, but its easy as the show is engrossing.

Season 2, Its well, confusing and less engrossing. Admittedly I paid less attention during season 2 but it just wasnt as good.

Honestly im still a little confused, what the fuck was that door they went through, was that suposed to be heaven?

How long has Hale been a host? They jump around in time too incoherently in this season.

And what the fuck is going on with Bernard? His timeline is the most confusing.
Habebe
Member
Wed Sep 30 19:43:16
Oh and they never explained Charlotte's ( Shannon Woodward) response to Bernard being a host.

Did she know the whole time? Didnt seem so in season 1, and then in season 2 it just seemed like it was not a revelation.

Also, great actress, season o e she had an interesting character, but in season 2 her writing was just boring, waste of talent.

Going back to the classics, The X-files, my favorite series that isnt absolutley linear, meaning you can skip episodes and still umderstamd and enjoy the show where as game.of thrones out of order is just a mess.

With the Success of Castlevania. I wish they would delve deeper into Castlevanias darker spawn The Legacy of Kain/ soul Reaves series.

There is so* much potential for good story telling there and it actually has a lot more depth than Castlevania but also much more to expand on.... like Kain creating the Empire.
