Washing machines can dry clothing. But the combination technology is finicky. Expect to have to replace every 5 years.

I am surprised they are not commonly available in the US. I bought the first one for a business 8 years ago.

Emprical data I have on hand suggests that even a common washer and dryer folds and irons clothing.

The process seems pretty automated from when I drop stuff into the bin and it is back in drawers/clothcupboards some hours later.

this shit is deliberate. just like cassetes and walkmans, music player and cd discs
