My favourite scene with Connery was from The Rock, where after a chase in the mine and bloody shootout, having barely avoided getting killed, he is hanging upside down from that dumb mining corf, Nicholas Cage asks him, “Are you ok?”, and Connery replies, “perfectly ok, you fuckin idiot”

But this is just one of many, of course.

So many great films. I'm remembering the scene from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where he reveals that he also slept with the Nazi scientist and the look on Indy's face. Might watch that movie again soon.

He could have been Gandalf but turned it down. His last film was league of extraordinary gentlemen instead. Still considered one of the sexiest men alive into his 60's. Being old must have sucked for him. Not really a star anymore and wasn't getting the kind of pussy he got in his prime as Mr. Universe and then James Bond.

Also I remember him as the first meme before there was a word for meme:
