So, it has happened utopia, im getting old and i acknowledge it. My right eye has a blurry vision, used to be the eye id use when i woke up while squinting to read crap. Now it is blurry as hell. Getting old is a bummer.

Well, the drinking can't help. Were all getting old . For me its my lungs causing me problems. I was ok in PA but the air in the South is so humid for starters, plus I dont seem accustom to the allergens add on that I smoke a shitload of weed and to lesser extent cigs when I was younger. I still occasionally smoke cigs, but its rare.

The lack of adderall might play a role as well. As a side effect Adderall opens my airways more than most any inhaler ive ever had.

Is it possible you have diabetes?

I would check that and your eyes asap. I still have regular vison I guess, perhaps its because of my intake of tomatoes, fresh, canned whatever, tomatoes in someway or another are literally 1/5 of my diet, always have been.

Other than my left knee which makes it painful to stand for more than an hour, I'm not complaining too much. The knee is too painful to walk like I used to. Which leads to inactivity which leads to weight gain. Currently 320. But what the hell I never expected to live this long anyway. I'll be 77 in less than a month.

” im getting old”

Do you need to cut hair in your nose and in your ears, like Hot Rod?

”My right eye has a blurry vision”

Maybe you are not 100% sober yet? Or maybe you’ve got something in your eye.

Tom, Being 320 lbs and 77 is quite impressive on its own. I usually think of 70+ as scrawny.

Been fat all my life. Hard physical work is the only thing that takes it off. That's why I miss walking. Used to walk 3 miles in about 50 min. every day but my knee started giving out. I was in pretty good shape when I held it under 260. I was always pretty strong. due to hard work and long long hours.

Low energy levels. Always feel lethargic. Don't even get the energy boost from working out that I used to.

Other than that, all is swell.

Last year, my one-year removed dislocated knee gave me issues in the cold, figured it would be the cliche lifelong winter alarm. No issues this year so far. Maybe in a decade or two.

Most conversations with friends begin with the same “Remember when...”. On the back nine of life now

I'm still in pretty good shape. Pat on the back for stopping my shitty diet back in my late 20s/early 30s.

But I spent the last two weeks doing home renovations for 4/5 hours a day plus normal workload. Kicked my butt. I could have done it no problem 20 years ago, but c'est la vie. At least I can see and walk.

Yes, I have also noticed that I can't focus on things that are too close. Like less than 20 cm from my nose. My physical peak has passed. Working out injuries seems to come much easier. Require much more warm up now. Gaining weight and keeping it is also harder.

I physically feel like am slowly inching towards my inevitable demise during some work outs. Like I literally feel like I am dying, because I feel so out of shape relative to 7 or even 5 years ago. I am seriously considering TRT, because this is bullshit.

Hah dak same sorta. I had to trim the bush on my wall, it took me two weeks as well. In my prime id be done in two days. But fucking hell my back killed me.

Almost set a personal record climbing the other day.

Then i stabbed my finger with my own crampon and now my back hurts.

So it sounds like my old age could be a lot worse!

Get into cardio folks. Cardio fitness lasts.

Some of you sound like 4 months in county would do you some good.

I know it sounds.crazy, but a few.months in jail do wonders for a lot of people. Plenty of rest, you drink only water, limited diet and out of boredom you workout and read a shit ton, no smokes or booze etc.

"bum knee"

Nah, it's good now. Squats and presses helped. I didn't see a doc for it, other than mentioning it at my last wellness check. He didn't notice any scarring.

I'll bet I feel it several years from now.

For now I'll settle for a T booster or something else for energy. lol

I feel like cardio is good for energy levels, I prefer hiking.

But I havnt lifted on the regular in a year and a half and I still can pop my pecs independently, which isnt super impressive, but on these boards may be rare.

In my 8 years working at the jail, I witnessed what jail time can do for some. Many came in looking like they were pushing a hard 50 and read their files only to find they were mid 20's. 3 months later they looked their age. I would rather be stabbed in both eyes than go to jail. :)

Well, if it any solace, what you feel today will soon seem like great health comparatively speaking.

The trajectory is that you will have a significant chance of covid before the vaccine punches through.

Long term effects will make you seem vibrant and alive today.

I still think my wife and I had it a year ago. we were both sick as dogs for over a month. Our Doctor also said the same thing about himself. But this was before Covid was supposed to be here in the US.
I still have a sort of chronic cough.

If close enough, then it may have given partial immunity at least. There is some evidence from Africa that exposure to flu strains is helpful.

But you would be patient 0 if indeed the Coon-Flu.
