NO! The President is not allowed to pressure election officials to change the vote and threatening legal action against them is illegal.

As a President, doesn’t he have to protect the Constitution, the country and the democracy, though? So if he believes that he won the election but if no one is going to help him to overturn the election result, can’t he just order the military (they vote 100% for Trump) to stop this charade and stop the steal and secure his power?

Ah, must be that time again, looking at the USA. Yet another Republican administration ends in complete fucking disaster, handing over the country to the next dem who again must try to fix this. This time, in addition to all the usual calamities that GOP brings, like worse jobs creation numbers, worse budget deficit, worse economic growth, etc, this time america is also seem to be on the brink of serious violence, as an added bonus. So, good luck, sleepy Joe. And don’t forget to vote Republican, kids.

In his first four years in office, Trump has had by far the lowest average U.S. GDP growth rate of any of the last seven U.S. presidents.

a Georgia official is holding a presser & going over all Trump's bullshit allegations & refuting them all at the moment (including the deliberate misrepresentation of a video of people at a voting site that Trump & his propaganda media has played up)

lots of refuting was done on the call too... 'sir, we looked at it, it's nothing' repeatedly)

"CR, Skewed results. He has also had the highest GDP growth quarter of all time most recently and is handing that off to Biden. "

If you exclude 2020, its still not that great. Compared to Reagan/Clinton(the two leaders) its downright pathetic. Not surprising those are the two most popular presidents in modern history.

“ CR, Skewed results”

For every president. I’m sure obama didn’t want Bush’s Great Recession jobs and growth losses on his record, but shit happens. This is when you remember where the buck stops.

You know you're an absolute hack when you're claiming the president is responsible for a pandemic-caused recession.

"If you exclude 2020, its still not that great. Compared to Reagan/Clinton(the two leaders) its downright pathetic."

Realistically, America's mature economy means that 3%+ growth is probably a thing of the past. We're going to be more like Europe and Japan going forward in that regard.

That being said, if Trump had won another four years we would have been seeing 10% growth by 2023.

“ You know you're an absolute hack when you're claiming the president is responsible for a pandemic-caused recession. ”

Sure he is, he could have manage the pandemic better, instead of laughing at people who wear masks and demanding to liberate states from lockdowns. Economy would have performed better. Excuses are actually hacky here, not stating of the fact how every US president is responsible for whatever happens in US.

Why even bother trying to have a rational conversation with someone like Rugian? This is a person that supports trying to undermine democracy and stealing free and fair elections. You've seen how far down the CT nutter rabbit hole he's traveled over the past few years, right? There's no coming back from that level of derangement.

"instead of laughing at people who wear masks"

Mask use only slows down the spread. If you're spending eight hours a day with coworkers in an enclosed environment, masks aren't going to do shit.

"and demanding to liberate states from lockdowns"

Ah yes, calling for an end to lockdowns absolutely fucked us up economically. Especially considering that, you know, lockdowns are THE EXACT THINGS that are killing the economy.

All evidence shows that extreme reactions boost economic recovery after a disaster. In the case of a pandemic, those extreme reactions would be lockdowns, mask wearing.

"All evidence shows that extreme reactions boost economic recovery after a disaster. In the case of a pandemic, those extreme reactions would be lockdowns, mask wearing. "

If those measures allowed for improved economic conditions sooner than without. That is not the case. The economy is too interconnected. Maskers and non-maskers depend on each other, so economy would have been shitty regardless.

“ Ah yes, calling for an end to lockdowns absolutely fucked us up economically. ”

Then go and liberate the states, what can I tell you? The buck stops with president, president is responsible for his record. Donald could have made any number of moves re covid and economy, and he did, his chose his policies. So suck it up an accept his record. Or don’t, I mean, if you can come up with more excuses, do that.

Now now, let's be consistent. I remember when you argued that any economic performance prior to 10/01/09 was attributable to Bush rather than Obama, because apparently Obama made no financial decisions during fiscal year 2009. So clearly there are carveouts and exceptions to be made, when appropriate

I just said, “ I’m sure obama didn’t want Bush’s Great Recession jobs and growth losses on his record, but shit happens. This is when you remember where the buck stops.”

So yes, whatever happened with economy on Obama watch is on his record. Was the Great Recession Obama’s fault? No. But his policies to deal with Great Recession are on him. (Inadequate stimulus for example). Same with trump, covid is not his fault, but how he dealt with covid is definitely on trump.

crippling our economy, ruining people's lives and causing incredibly high suicide rates is so much worse.

Despite Trump's efforts to stay in power, the West Wing is becoming more like a ghost town. Several senior staffers have departed in recent days and more are expected to do so soon as officials line up their next jobs. The few senior staff who are left have sought to distance themselves from Trump's efforts out of fear of possible legal exposure.

Some senior aides, including Hope Hicks, are spending less time at the White House than previously. And Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, was headed to Saudi Arabia early this week for a ceremony marking the end of the Gulf crisis involving Qatar rather than remaining in Washington.

"No one wants to be around anymore," one official said. "It's a dark place."

http://edi...eorgia-call-mindset/index.html

So Kushner prefers to be in Saudi Arabia over America. Kushner and Barbaria are obviously plotting something.

Using coercion to force someone to commit a crime IS a crime.

Purposefully altering election results so a preferred candidate wins IS a crime.

What Trump did IS a crime.

Dakyron, Which statement did he coerce and force anything?

"Purposefully altering election results so a preferred candidate wins IS a crime."

Like the DNC did and argued in court that they do not owe anyone a fair process?

"What Trump did IS a crime."

This thread is full of Trump haters claiming that. And yet, where is the evidence?

Did he threaten to harm to anyone? which statement was criminal?

You know why Trump lost his bid to overturn the election? he lacks proof of his claims, just like this nonsense.

Hood, I heard the call. Apparently you can't find the quote where he said anything wrong, threatened anyone etc.

Im.still waiting for the quote when he said anything illegal.Perhaps I missed where he threatened someone and or their family. He argued he thought it was a fraudelent election.

You know why he is on his way out? he has about the same amount of evidence as this alleged crime.

"Dakyron, Which statement did he coerce and force anything?"

Trump -->
And every single ballot went to Biden, and you didn’t know that, but now you know it. So tell me, Brad, what are we going to do? We won the election, and it’s not fair to take it away from us like this. And it’s going to be very costly in many ways

"Purposefully altering election results so a preferred candidate wins IS a crime."

Who gives a shit? Am I a DNC supporter?

"This thread is full of Trump haters claiming that. And yet, where is the evidence?

Did he threaten to harm to anyone?"

Yes.

Trump --> And you are going to find that they are — which is totally illegal — it is more illegal for you than it is for them because, you know, what they did and you’re not reporting it. That’s a criminal, that’s a criminal offense. And you can’t let that happen. That’s a big risk to you and to Ryan, your lawyer. And that’s a big risk.

"You know why Trump lost his bid to overturn the election? he lacks proof of his claims, just like this nonsense. "

He lost because more people in swing states voted for Biden instead of him. There is no other reason.

Trump cant back his.claims up with evidence, it he can express his opinion.I see nothing illegal or wrong here.

Trump told them to give him 11,780 votes and he even told them that they could explain this fraud by saying that they have recalculated.

It's all on tape.

Isn't election fraud a crime?
