as robert baratheon, first of his names and king of the andals, told his trusted friend ned stark, lord of winterfell and warden of the north, "there is a war coming."

scary but very true, we are so divided. an election was stolen what other option is there to do now be rebel?

we have been backstabbing and backbiting for years. an election was stolen, blatantly, and we are told to accept it and move on.

no. that isnt going to happen. i know many people who have floated crazy ideas, people who are otherwise pretty mild mannered, but they are talking a lot of crazy stuff. and its ironic when im the mild mannered person in the crowd.

that is how i know a war is looming.

this atmosphere is 100% similar to the antebellum period. we are divided, we are angry and both sides are extremes and both sides equal to about half the populace.

and a shit ton of votes in nevada came from people who didnt live in nevada.

the democrats rigged the election by changing rules and sending out mail in ballots that required zero confirmation of identity. they did it on purpose. it should never have happened. but they took advantage of the covid lunacy and pressured the gop to go along with it because of the covid lunacy.

its obvious. it has been exposed. like i said, a war is coming. the rubicon and been crossed.

as aeros would say "this can only mean war"

the speaker of the house tore up the state of the union address on national television. for 4 years we, meaning right leaning people, have been called racist, sexist and abusive. meanwhile the left has literally ignored incredibly violent riots because they knew those rioters were on their side.

what exactly do you think the reaction is going to be? you push someone often enough and they will eventually push you back.

I make fun of your jewishness because you constantly call me a rapist. In reality i live a life of respect with women where my main goal is to balance being friendly but not too friendly to make them uncomfortable.

And you morons are missing the point. I am telling you that i am the one with everyone i know who tries to calm down. But you need to listen to the reality that a large chunk of the population, about 48 percent, think we were robbed.

There is a lot of evidenced of it. And you want to dismiss us as idiots and that is so incredibly dangerous. And foolish. This is a dangerous time. We are on the crusp of a civil war.

Our government has ruined lives, life savings and lied to us. Meanwhile we see they ignore the laws they want us to follow.

So you can keep ignoring this at your own peril. But history repeats itself. And we are moments from violence.

joanne wasnt random ass, i simply didnt love her as much as she needed and she had a lot of issues that i was too immature to comprehend. i should have dragged her into a mental asylum but instead i just spoke to her as she progressively got worse with both her mental state and alcoholism.

regarding now, i did go to rehab afterwards because i did fall apart out of guilt and shame for my failures. now i am of pretty sound mind and i see a violent conflict coming and if you don't then you are blind. i knew today would happen and it wont go away because, right or wrong (doesnt matter), half the country thinks they were robbed of an election.

and on top of the that, the ruling party now wants to say "amen and awomen". meaning they are extremists and should expect an extreme reaction. pretending that wont happen, or dismissing that wont happen is going to be proven in history as foolish... as it has been historically proven to ignore a large segment of a societies growing resentment and frustrations.

I think election fraud is like holding in the NFL. Refs could call holding on every play if they wanted. Doesn't usually affect the outcome of the game though. The egregious holds are called most the time. Sometimes they are missed.

I think that has happened here with the election. Quite a bit of fraud that doesn't mean shit and a few cases that need to be looked into not to overturn this election but to be better about spotting them next election.
I'm almost certain fraud happens every election just most the time it doesn't have any impact on the election.

people like kargen are why the polls were so off. There are a ton of people are "not supporters" of Trump, and deny (even to themselves) of supporting him. Yet somehow they end up voting for him and agreeing with him on 100% of everything except one or two token issues ("durr, he tweets too much I guess," or "he picks bad advisors.")

This is my first time watching CNN in years, it's been a marathon and I think it's the first time I've ever actually seen Chris Cuomo, Abby Philips, Don Lemon and first time in a long time I've seen Anderson Cooper.

Leaving aside the news of the day, Don Lemon in particular just sucks.

Cuomo: "these two were both Supreme Court clerks, they are legal geniuses, so they know what they're doing is [wrong <- "wrong" is the next word that would have completed the thought]"
Don Lemon: No, they are not, they are not, they are wrong.

He did the *this probably sounds inspirational* thing where you address someone who isn't there in the second person form as if you were sitting in a room with them: "And let me tell *you*, Donald Trump, what *you* did is wrong." It was interminable and he was clearly dragging it out while waiting for the roll call vote that was under way to complete. Righteous tone, straight to camera delivery like you're saying something of utmost importance but it's just filler.

Later, to fill time, he had retired Rep Charlie Dent on a panel. Charlie Dent is like "you know, I always took my constituents to see this plaque about the PA soldiers from Civil War right by the East Wing, it's a desecration to see the Confederate flag flown in the halls of the Capitol, Trump should resign but he won't, we have to do something, we are the party of Lincoln...", and Lemon stops him mid-sentence with "hold up, one thing, and I'm going to stop you: 'were'." Dent looks confused. Lemon: "were. You said are, but you were the party of Lincoln." Hosting etiquette is basically "what if instead of having a conversation, we were two people tweeting at each other." Feel like he also did this with Abby Philips where he stopped her mid-sentence so he could deliver some kind of this-would-be-devestating-on-twitter comment.

These mannerisms really hit a lot of Modern Communication Tendencies I Loathe BINGO boxes for me.

Still, I just don't see where you people make the jump from "insufferable TV hosts are insufferable" to supporting Trump, even in 2016 incarnation. It's like finding a letter from the Vegas shooter and you learn the whole reason he did it was because he didn't like Jason Aldean's setlist.

Sure. Anyone who accepts the truth and professes remorse is ready for reconciliation and can certainly be fined instead of jailed.

We will have to leave nuance like that to the sentencing judge.

What % do you reckon are ready to accept the truth of the election and agree that Biden is the legitimally elected president?

Truth is the premise for reconciliation. The logic of your argument falls there I think.

The outstanding question to me is, what % of the mob that broke in were US citizens? I have no way nor does anyone on these board know for sure. Nobody stopped and did a ID check as these people were breaking in. Nobody did a bag search. Nobody checked for concealed weapons.

Who knew that breaking into the Chambers of Congress was so easy?

I already limited the scope to entry.

Truth is a precondition for reconciliation. Check out the programme in SA for example.

Seb -

Please. You two enjoy seeing each others words so much you may as well be pen pals.

Anyway, interesting that you are proposing "truth and reconciliation" - not for leftist BLM/antifa rioters, who actually *have* undergone extensive programming through educational upbringing and mass media - but for Trump supporters, who just like hearing what comes out of his mouth.

You've just justified their hostility for you. They hold a different political opinion from you, and for that they need to be reprogrammed. Disgusting mentality.

Also, look what "truth and reconciliation" did to South Africa. Place is a third world shithole now.

You were talking about a roundup of 30k domestic terrorists in the post in responded to. I think we are agreeing by the sounds of it.

Yes, accepting truth is a precondition, and yes right now many might not be willing to accept truth; I'm saying you need a process to confront people with the truth and an opportunity to therefore reconcile.

There was an interesting radio spot with an expert in cults, they put an 80/20 split for likelihood of hard core Q anon types breaking from trump over the next 3 months.

I thought that high, but I guess people are more plastic than I assume.

That was just hyperbole. I clarified a post after.

80/20 does not infer deradicalization. Breaking to the even more crazy.

Legal jepardy is key. Truth in exchange for amnesty.

Ideally, that should be the price trump pays for a pardon.

Normal people do not need to be deradicalized. They just need to see those culpable admit they were wrong.
