i gotta say i'm getting pretty sick of seeing these (R)s saying Trump should face no consequences as it would be bad for unifying the nation

Cruz, Rubio, Hugh Hewitt...

them joining the impeachment calls would be what's good for unifying... Trump is insanely unfit for office (as they all knew since the beginning)... now a golden opportunity to do what's right

If the instigators can just walk away without facing consequences, it will be bad for unifying the nation. It will also set a precedent. I think most if not all rational people will agree with this.

An FBI bulletin obtained by ABC News reporter Aaron Katersky claims that "armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols from 16 January through at least 20 January, and at the US Capitol from 17 January through 20 January."

but of course it's the Dems harming unifying efforts... not Rs refusing to collectively reject Trump & his denial of reality & refusal to concede

Today, President Donald J. Trump will award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Jim Jordan. This prestigious award is the Nation’s highest civilian honor, which is awarded by the President to individuals who have made especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.

...

...he also worked to unmask the Russia hoax and take on Deep State corruption — confronting senior Justice Department officials for obstructing Congress and exposing the fraudulent origins of the Russia collusion lie.
"

hmm... no fraudulent origins were actually found

Jim probably took both

the repetitive statement also notes Jim's work on the IRS 'scandal' (which they completely misinformed the public about) & Benghazi... i don't know Jim's role in those & i'm sure Trump doesn't either, but i would bet he was a lead misinformer as he is now

obviously Trump awarded the medal solely for Jim's 100% loyalty & tireless defense of Trump

Liz Cheney:

"On January 6, 2021 a violent mob attacked the United States Capitol to obstruct the process of our democracy and stop the counting of presidential electoral votes. This insurrection caused injury, death and destruction in the most sacred space in our Republic.

Much more will become clear in coming days and weeks, but what we know now is enough. The President of the United States summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack. Everything that followed was his doing. None of this would have happened without the President. The President could have immediately and forcefully intervened to stop the violence. He did not. There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution.

I will vote to impeach the President."

- summoned this mob
- assembled the mob
- lit the flame
- none of this would have happened without the 'president'

Calling Pence a pussy didn't work, for some reason

"Mr. Trump was enraged that Mr. Pence was refusing to try to overturn the election. In a series of meetings, the president had pressed relentlessly, alternately cajoling and browbeating him. Finally, just before Mr. Pence headed to the Capitol to oversee the electoral vote count last Wednesday, Mr. Trump called the vice president’s residence to push one last time.

“You can either go down in history as a patriot,” Mr. Trump told him, according to two people briefed on the conversation, “or you can go down in history as a pussy.”

The blowup between the nation’s two highest elected officials then played out in dramatic fashion as the president publicly excoriated the vice president at an incendiary rally and sent agitated supporters to the Capitol where they stormed the building — some of them chanting “Hang Mike Pence.”

from American Thinker:

"
We received a lengthy letter from Dominion's defamation lawyers explaining why they believe that their client has been the victim of defamatory statements. Having considered the full import of the letter, we have agreed to their request that we publish the following statement:

American Thinker and contributors Andrea Widburg, R.D. Wedge, Brian Tomlinson, and Peggy Ryan have published pieces on www.AmericanThinker.com that falsely accuse US Dominion Inc., Dominion Voting Systems, Inc., and Dominion Voting Systems Corporation (collectively “Dominion”) of conspiring to steal the November 2020 election from Donald Trump. These pieces rely on discredited sources who have peddled debunked theories about Dominion’s supposed ties to Venezuela, fraud on Dominion’s machines that resulted in massive vote switching or weighted votes, and other claims falsely stating that there is credible evidence that Dominion acted fraudulently.

These statements are completely false and have no basis in fact. Industry experts and public officials alike have confirmed that Dominion conducted itself appropriately and that there is simply no evidence to support these claims.

It was wrong for us to publish these false statements. We apologize to Dominion for all of the harm this caused them and their employees. We also apologize to our readers for abandoning 9 journalistic principles and misrepresenting Dominion’s track record and its limited role in tabulating votes for the November 2020 election. We regret this grave error.

OT:

I really like picture 3 from the Mon Jan 18 23:08:47 link that shows the Central Park reservoir. The scale of Central Park is hard to understand without walking it, but I think that picture conveys the reservoir ain't small in a way that maps/satellite views fail to. And that's still only 1/8th the size of Central Park itself.

Before I'd ever visited New York, I think I pictured Manhattan as being approximately the size of Central Park itself (which is 2.5 miles x 0.5 miles). Manhattan is more like 13 miles x 2 miles though. That in turn is more like what I pictured the size of Long Island to be, which is actually 100 miles x 15 miles.

I blame GTA IV for my geographical misconceptions.

maybe just "BS by delusional fraud PoS" :p, he won't be getting any honorifics from me

or hopefully "indictments & lawsuits against delusional fraud PoS"... (will need some abbreviating to fit)

not sure i will care about his comments much longer... & if he doesn't get back on some social media it would make it difficult :p (i have no plans to watch him on Fox & Friends or Hannity)

Trump's schedule used to look more like that back when he was pretending to do the job (though usually not that many entries, & i'm sure Biden's won't look like that often either... but doubtful there will -ever- be just childish idiotic nonsense...)

"A new report says that some far-right protesters have discussed posing as members of the National Guard to infiltrate the inauguration — the way Democrats infiltrated two weeks ago and put on MAGA clothing"

unhappy cultist Daniel Bostic (after pardon list):

"
Trump went to Washington to “drain the swamp”.

Then he hired the swamp.

Then his final act as President was to bow to the swamp.

I don’t care who unfollows me so save yourself the tweet or DM and go for it.

I’m not some MAGA grifter who’s gonna say whatever to get some retweets and follows.

Trump caved to the deep state as his final act.

He’d rather have Bannon free than Assange or Snowden.

I’m done

Will this be the final thread? #60?

I think I can post this link here, for Tumbleweed

The Complete List of Trump’s Twitter Insults (2015-2021)

http://www...rump-complete-insult-list.html

I only skimmed it briefly, but Trump seemed to be particularly angry at John Bolton.

He only had one insult on Putin. And a very weak insult, it was barely an insult. Same with Saudi Arabia.
