It comes naturally for me, every time something bad happens, I start thinking of ways it can get worse :) it is not a mental condition, more of a hobby.

habebe Member	Tue Jan 12 11:29:03 Nimi, Ive often that was more a US trait with Euros seeming better at preperation. FEMA seems to encapsulate that at least for Americans. We seem to have no problem spending gobs of money after the fact, but when you bring up cheaper* preparation we cant afford it. In my state they regularly give us budget surpluses back in tax rebates. Drives me nuts to think someone thoight it was a good idea to give everyone $40 instead of keeping $40 from everyone and expand drainage infrastructure ( much needed) or help homeowners to manage trees dangerously near buildings considering we have a " hurricane season".
