RIP.

My grandma died in December, but she was 102 years old, so hard to mourn too much.

My grandfather passed away last year, few month before pandemic, he was 99. The war veteran wing of toronto hospital where he spent his last year, got hit with multiple covid Infections almost immediately, in April iirc.

Sorry man. How old was she?

My neice just lost her kindergarten teacher to covid.I think its the first time she really understood death is more than just going away.

She was 93, so i am not upset or surprised. But what makes me cry is my grandma wanted to go on a ventilator and the doctors told her it would hurt more that way and my mom had to convince my grandma to accept death instead of trying to buy time. That is why my mom is broken, she had to convince her mom to surrender and she had to do it not her sister or her brother.

Im more sad for my mom than my grandma who did babysit me as a kid. Well. Shit. Its hitting me now.

RIP

When someone that old passes it's more mourning an end of an era that'll never come back.

RIP. 93 is a full life to have lived, and she got to see her grandchildren grow up during those years.

Also she sounds like she was of pretty sound mind even at the end. Here's hoping your own genes are anywhere near that hardy.

"We had a good last christmas", did you infect her there? Did you were a mask all the time? Did you touch her?

Losing someone is always tough but at least you got to say goodbye.
