so Trump's legal team all quit as he (a fucking moron) wants to argue election fraud whereas they (not morons) wanted to go w/ unconstitutionality (which they already know would win, as the spineless shameful R's in the Senate already claim they believe that, so it is the completely obvious choice to do for non-morons)

anyway... hopefully Trump will force whatever Lionel Hutz team he gets to go w/ election fraud... it would sure shoot some holes in the theory that Trump is trying to unify the nation as really-fucked-up-in-the-head Lindsey Graham & others claim

& maybe the spineless shameful R's may have to convict after all

Sen Rob Portman went on the TV to talk to Trump (as was standard practice to do with the toddler) telling the moron to go with unconstitutionality as the R's ALREADY are on the record accepting that bullshit & to NOT reject the election results

here's hoping Trump remains stubborn though, although i'm sure his propaganda team at Fox will be blaring that obvious message too

This impeachment will help Trump.more than hurt. At best its a distraction away from Biden.

Trump will be acquitted again. This puts him back in the news and helps pushbhis narrative of a witch hunt that he was not guilty of again....dumb move by the Dems.

announcement put out by "45th 'President' Donald J. Trump" about his new lawyers:

http://i.d...1-image-a-40_1612145120416.jpg

do you think it says "45th President" enough times?

also calling the lawyers "highly respected"... Trump's standard claim about every single person who is on his team or who praises him in the media (even if he has no idea who the person is)... ever the fraud

sounds like they may be going back to the unconstitutionality defense as is the obvious one to go with, even though it's total bullshit that R's clinging to so they don't have to actually judge Trump's behavior

here's hoping Dems still can call Trump as a witness where he will ruin everything
Rugian

Tw

Whoever wrote that knew their audience. If that statement didn't affix "45th" to his title, people like you would be accusing him of claiming he's still the president. Even though it's fully appropriate to still style him as "President Trump," the clarity needs to be added for the hacks.

everything she said on the vaccine was spot on (plus you're referring to a single instance that she clarified in the face of Trump media's mischaracterization)

Trump was anti-mask continuously, only coaxed into wearing one once on TV (& he still had to be a dick & note it was only as he was in a hospital), & then went back to opposing them including at both debates... & obviously his cultists knew he was against masks as they treated the rallies as a vacation from local laws (& he smugly called them protests in order to do so, 'hooray, we evaded public safety measures!... & killed Herman Cain... & countless others') + his closest staff in the White House wouldn't wear them as they knew he hated seeing them on people (even smearing loyal cultist Laura Ingraham with the vile "politically correct" label when he spotted her w/ one)

Of course not. Just as the people not wearimg masks did not do so BECAUSE Trump told them not to.

But his example is influential. As is hers. Honestly she is much closer to a cult od pwrsonality than Biden ever will be. They sell shirts with her all over. They even sell Kamalla swimsuits.

Her example is influential in a similar manner to Trump's. She is more popular amongst black women than Trump was to White men.

I fimd it an important fact to point out since Trump was so bashed over his mask usage, and getting a vaccinne or not is much more important. Black females are a specific group that has an unusually high level of mistrust in the vaccine.

cultists absolutely would've worn masks more if he encouraged it, they are even on tape saying so & obviously if mandatory at his rallies (which they easily could've been) they would've worn the masks

and there is NOTHING FUCKING EQUIVALENT about Trump all year long downplaying the virus & discouraging masks & purposely and proudly holding rallies without precautions -vs- Kamala ONE TIME saying she wouldn't trust Trump only experts on the vaccine (which is totally FINE)

Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz on Wednesday offered to represent former President Trump in his second impeachment trial, telling Fox News he would be willing to resign from his seat in the House of Representatives if asked to join the Trump legal team.

Gaetz, R-Fla., told Fox News on Wednesday that he has not been asked to join the former president’s defense, but offered to do so.

"I only regret that I have but one political career to give to my president," Gaetz told Fox News.

Gaetz told Fox News that he offered to represent Trump through Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows "weeks ago."

"When ethics advised that sitting House members couldn’t do it, the conversations ceased," Gaetz explained.

Gaetz, though, told Fox News that, if Trump asked him to join his defense, he would accept.

When asked whether he would resign from the House to do so, Gaetz told Fox News: "If the law requires it, yes."

Gaetz first floated the idea on the podcast, War Room Pandemic, saying: "I would leave my House seat, I would leave my home."

"I view this cancellation of the Trump presidency and the Trump movement as one of the biggest threats," Gaetz said on the podcast. "I’m here to win, to win so much I get tired of it because that’s what was promised."Gaetz comments come after the former president announced a new legal defense team, after he parted ways with five of his impeachment lawyers just a week before his Senate trial is set to begin.

Well, again, I have always believed the Russian hoax was a diversionary operation from the corruption that was occurring within certainly the FBI and potentially some of our intelligence agencies.

You have to kind of ask the question, what is this impeachment all about? We now know that 45 Republican senators believe it's unconstitutional. Is this another diversionary operation? Is this meant to deflect away from potentially what the speaker knew and when she knew it?

Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham are two jurors openly, shamelessly working with the defense

It should be noted that Ted Cruz cited public polling in the 30 or 40% range thinking the election was fraudulent as a reason not to certify the electoral votes (but not saying he found it fraudulent himself)

Whereas a distraught Lindsey was forced to acknowledge team Trump was unable to provide even minimal proof to him of Trump’s fraud claims when asked

So they -know- Trump poisoned the mind of tens of millions of voters against America’s elections (and incited that mob) and now want to approve of that behavior... totally crazy

A TRIAL BY COMBAT will follow every election. After the votes has been counted, the losing side will have one more chance to win the election, by storming the capitol and by force oust the side that won the most votes.

pie chart & analysis of senator opinions (in article):
http://twitter.com/rgoodlaw/status/1361362981687296003

summary:

of the 43 cowards, their not guilty vote based on:
- Jurisdiction-Based Objections: 23
- Jurisdiction-and Merits-Based Objections: 15
- Unclear Rationale: 1
- Statements on Explanation of Vote Not Available: 4

so minimally 23 more would have voted guilty if he was still in office (like McConnell indicated)... well into conviction range

(& since jurisdiction had already been settled by senate vote, they all should've convicted... they treated that vote as meaningless)

"since jurisdiction had already been settled by senate vote, they all should've convicted"

This is such bullshit reasoning and it shows what a hack you are. If you were a Senator and thought the Senate had voted wrongly on a procedural step, why would you accept an authority that you don't believe you rightfully have?

Also regarding your earlier reply:

"Look... i used "bipartisan" mockingly, as that's what YOUR side did on first impeachment... (when 1 or 2 out of 233 Dems voted against it, 1 switched party iirc)"

First of all, you're not capable of sarcasm or any other human reaction or emotion aside from hatred. Out of all the posters on here, you're the only one that never finds anything funny, or is able to admit fault, or express pleasure at something; the only thing I have ever seen you convey is an unceasing obsession with the orange man. You're a straight up robot.

Secondly, even if Fox or OAN or whoever did do that at the time, how does it make it any more acceptable for outlines like CNN or NYT to adopt the same standard? They're supposed to be the "credible" sources, right? Shouldn't they be above stooping to that level?

Be better, tw.

i am certain -I- used "bipartisan" for when -your- side used it... i was mocking the use when i said it (although that was before i knew it was going to be 7, i didn't expect that many)
