De Blasio has been an absolute trainwreck of a mayor. I would say that 2022 can't come fast enough, but his successor is likely to be even worse.

Using police intimidation to change non criminal behaviour.

Would people be ok with cops telling people to pull their pqnts up, pronunciate better and not be so loud?

Sure I don't see why not so long as it is just a suggestion.
Cop says pull your pants up so we don't have to see the crack of your ass.
Thug says go fuck yourself.
Both go on their merry way feeling a bit better about each other. No way that doesn't improve relations between the police and the community.
