"13 Investigates has learned Hole had a previous encounter with police during a mental health call in 2020. A behavioral unit was called to his home in March of 2020 on reports of a man voicing suicidal ideas. The unit encountered Hole, who had purchased a shotgun within 24 hours of the call.

The behavioral unit immediately detained him and took Hole to the hospital."

Ya, we gotta keep guns out of the hands of psychos, while still allowing citizens in good standing easy access.

CONFIRMED through family friend and police report. FedEx shooter Brandon Hole was taken via police to hospital on 3/3/20.
His mom and sister were there. Police took a pump action shotgun. Report states Hole “purchased gun within 24 hours & voiced suicidal ideation.”

People who have been involuntarily hospitalized (as it sounds like this guy was) haven't been legally able to acquire firearms since 1968.

Multiple arrests, reported to fbi, who declined to watch this guy for "lack of evidence".

Maybe instead of gun control we need competent bureaucrats?

Gun control is easier than competent bureacrats.

A longer waiting period would stop psychos like this more than depending an underfunded bureacracy.

Brandon Scott Hole: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

By Jessica McBride
Updated Apr 16, 2021 at 5:59pm

Brandon Scott Hole was identified by police as the 19-year-old mass shooter who killed eight people and wounded more at an Indianapolis, Indiana, FedEx Ground facility, on Thursday, April 15, 2021.

Hole died at the scene, police believe from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. “FedEx officials have confirmed that Mr. Hole was a former employee of the facility and he was last employed in 2020,” Deputy Chief Craig McCartt said in an afternoon news conference. He said there were at least 100 people in the facility at the time of the shooting. Many people were changing shifts and some were on their dinner break.

Hole was fired from FedEx, family and friends told Fox59 reporter Angela Ganote. The reason is not clear. The suspect’s full name is Brandon Scott Hole; he lived in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The mass shooting broke out in the parking lot and facility near the Indianapolis airport. Reports emerged of people hiding under conveyor belts and being shot in an office and parking lot by a shooter armed with a rifle or machine gun. The weapon was a .223 caliber rifle, according to dispatch audio. He was described as a lone gunman in a hoodie or hat who started randomly shooting in the parking lot before going inside, where a cell phone ban policy stopped some terrified workers from calling for help.

When police arrived at the scene, they found the wounded in cars, inside an office and the facility, and around the parking lot, according to scanner audio, which you can listen to later in this story. Authorities described the situation as an “active shooter” incident at one point on the scanner.

FBI says it interviewed FedEx mass shooter last year
By CASEY SMITH and RICK CALLAHAN

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The former employee who shot and killed eight people at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis was interviewed by FBI agents last year, after his mother called police to say that her son might commit “suicide by cop,” the bureau said Friday.

Coroners released the names of the victims late Friday, a little less than 24 hours after the latest mass shooting to rock the U.S. Four of them were members of Indianapolis’ Sikh community. The attack was another blow to the Asian American community a month after six people of Asian descent were killed in a mass shooting in the Atlanta area and amid ongoing attacks against Asian Americans during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Marion County Coroner’s office identified the dead as Matthew R. Alexander, 32; Samaria Blackwell, 19; Amarjeet Johal, 66; Jaswinder Kaur, 64; Jaswinder Singh, 68; Amarjit Sekhon, 48; Karli Smith, 19; and John Weisert, 74.

The shooter was identified as Brandon Scott Hole, 19, of Indianapolis, Deputy Police Chief Craig McCartt told a news conference. Investigators searched a home in Indianapolis associated with Hole and seized evidence, including desktop computers and other electronic media, McCartt said.

Hole began firing randomly at people in the parking lot of the FedEx facility late Thursday, killing four, before entering the building, fatally shooting four more people and then turning the gun on himself, McCartt said. He said he did not know if Hole owned the gun legally.

Look at that deformed triangular head. No one with deformed head should be allowed to own a gun, or drive a car for that matter. Something aint right in there.

The gunman in the FedEx shooting legally bought two semiautomatic rifles months after a gun was seized from him over his mental state, officials said.

Chief Randal Taylor of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the gunman in the attack bought two assault-style weapons in July and September. Months earlier, his mother had warned the police about his mental state.

Then he broke the law. *shrug*

Why are you still focused on this story anyway? Frankly, this is not important enough to warrant a thread.

Its either that or he was never found to be ill enough to warrant hospitalization, which means that there was zero reason to strip him of his constitutional rights.
