Several of the authors behind the report on suspected AstraZeneca side effects did not state that they had received money from companies that also produce vaccines.

The Class Struggle wrote on Thursday that OUS professor Pål André Holme, one of the authors behind a professional article on AstraZeneca side effects, did not state that over the past five years he has received over a million kroner from Pfizer and Bayer, both of which produce vaccines.

But he is not the only one who has received money from vaccine companies. VG's review shows that three of the other authors also have been paid by vaccine companies. Everyone first ticked "no" on questions about possible connections, in the so-called transparency document that accompanies the article in the New England Journal of Medicine.

Both Pfizer and Bayer are developing covid-19 vaccines, and are thus competitors to AstraZeneca. Holme ticked "no" on the question of whether he has received money transfers from relevant players in the last 36 months, and on whether he has any connections that could create doubts about impartiality.

On Thursday, some of the researchers turned around and provided new information to the transparency document.

In the updated form, six out of eleven authors, including Holme, have ticked "yes" to questions about possible conflicts of interest.

They claim that they received money for giving lectures not directly related to the vaccine. But still, they lied about having connections to and being on Pfizer’s pay roll.

What if all the negative reporting on Western (AZ) vaccine comes from the US (CIA, Pfizer etc) and not from Putin as US officials has claimed? What if it is America who is lying and cheating (for economic reason and to support its medicine industry)? So they go out in media and says that it is Putin who wants to damage the trust in Western (AZ) vaccine, but in reality it is the US who is paying people to write negative reports on AZ vaccine?

And here is a common problem among "experts" in all fields. Especially fields dominated by few large companies/interests.

Remember the guy leading the charge that the Wuhan leak theory was a crazy conspiracy? turns out he has a vested interest in that lab so his evidence that it wasn't a leak amounted to the Chinese authorities told him so...
