I have a great dog (Rosy) she's a German Shepard/Pittbull, but the sweetest dog in the world, she gets slightly aggressive on her own territory, but other than that my parents dog actualy bit her and she (rosy, who is much larger) wouldn't even bite back she just kind knocked the other dog over Anyway, my sister is contesting that the dog should be hers, because her fiance's daughter wants the dog, but the kid is a brat, constantly screams at her and always just wants to cage the dog (the daughter is a 4 year old control freak) and to be truthfull the real reason they want the dog is because the kids birth mom wouldn't let her have one, and they want to be the cool parents (birth dad and my sister) Now the dog is legally in my name, but staying with them currently (as I was but I'm on an extended vacation...longstory) they lock the dog up in cage all day, walk her maybe 1500 FEET a day, several times when I was over there the dog shit in it's own cage! (I was pissed) a dog will not do that if it doesn't HAVE to, they unlock for about 1 hr a day, and she has no air conditioning on the dog! All this and she has the balls to want to keep the dog! as far as I'm concerned the dog has a higher birthrite than the biological father and daughter (irish slav mix or something) people like this should jailed and barred from owning pets, and for repeat offenders life or gas chambered I'm pissed

HABEBE Member	Tue Aug 26 18:11:59 Fred, I'm moving to her to my parents house down south, they have 4.5 acres and a black lab her age (they get along great, and actually behave better) but right now I can't get home until I get my medical records faxed in (hopefully tommorow) and then I can get my replacement SS card, and then I can get my photo ID (my old one was expired, so I couldn't fly home last time, the airport denied my ID) Nim, She shouldn't be allowed to have a dog, or she should get a shitzu or something, a dog the size of rosy (she's about 90 lb's) is not fit for two people who work all day and live in a 2nd story apt. (large condo sized as it is) that IMHO is abuse

HABEBE Member	Tue Aug 26 18:17:07 Well, here is the issue, we got the dog as a house dog, all of us (I was living with them) we came down to SC to visit, they went homw with the dog (against my wishes, but at the time I had no legal claim, I do now have her legally in my name) I wanted to leave the dog with my parents (who were more than willing, it gave their lab a playmate, and she acres to run) then I ended up having ID issues at the airport, and will be home in a few days, I have no way of getting the dog, unless, actually my freind debbie lives down the street, she might help, she hates my sister and fiance anyway
HABEBE Member	Tue Aug 26 18:22:25 Nim, She's a cunt, thats all, and not attractive, so she's hanging on to this guy mike to dear life and will usually back him no matter what The other thing was he punched the dog o nce, he thought it had but his daughter when she was playing with it, it was a false alarm, but still punching the dog after the fact is stupid, even if she did bite her the dog wouldn't know why she was getting hit minutes later, and the only reason IMO to hit the dog like that is if the dog was attacking the kid and you were fighting it off of her, once she's free it's like ahab holding a grudge, he said "what would you have done if you thought the dog bit your kid" I responded that I would have scolded the kid and asked what she did to make the dog bite her, as I know the dogs demeanor, they didn't like that response

Then there was a German Shepard that had just given birth to a litter who found an abandoned baby. She gathered her litter around the baby and kept it warm till a human came to the rescue. And keeping a dog in a cage that it can't even turn around in 23 hours a day is likely a violation of animal abuse laws depending on your state and you can have the dog forcibly removed and possibly even have these assholes arrested or at least fined. I'd call police, the humane society, and PETA and I'd might even go as far as physically threatening them to turn the dog over to me. These people are douchebags of the highest order.

Side note it's well documented that people who abuse animals often grow up to abuse/murder people, most any Psychiatrist will tell you this I am looking into to legal authorities if I can't settle this without them, my freind debbie's phone was messed up again (sim card issues) I know her husbands cell though (another freind of mine) I'll call him tom. Pierre, I'm ashamed to be related to anyone that would act so cruelly to such a sweet animal, any animal at that, I hate snakes, and if I see them roaming wild admittedly I will either run or kill them on spot ( we get cottonmouths down here alot, and their highly venomous) but even snakes that I hate I wouldn't torture RoB, I live in PA normally, in the suburbs of Philly, which is why I have the dog registered as a German Shepard, pit bulls are illegal in Philly (Pennsburg, where I live) but still too many people have a bad conotation about them, but she's not viscous at all, the only time she growls/hair goes up is if someone unknown walks in the house without me or if people are fighting (she growled at my future brother in laws poker buddy once for spanking his kid in front of her) When she know she's been bad she does this cute "scuttle" then rolls on her back, it's so cute I can't get mad at her

HABEBE Member	Wed Aug 27 22:48:40 Well, I know I'll sleep better now, the dog is in the care of my friend debbie temporaraly until I can get back home, I know she'll take good care of her Eds, I agree, we used to crate our beagles when we went out because prior to be fixed rocky and jake (father and son) used to fight, but in much more reasonably sized cages compared to the dogs size RoB, Rosy is almost all black, with light streaks of shepard "brown" and a white spot on her chest in the shape of a rose (hence the name, she came with it from an Amish family) My ex-manager Natalia also had a pitbull (smaller) but the dog was othead and very gentle as well Also I'd like to announce my younger brothers cat just had three kittens, and we think she may have one or two more by morning RF, Koreans eat dogs, I don't know if Chinese cuisine encompases dogs
HABEBE Member	Wed Aug 27 23:12:12 Now, if anyone know anything about dog owner law, that would be great, I've looked over the PA dog laws, but not much on a contested ownership, technically it says that anyone whom the animal lives with can be considered an owner, but the dog is licensed under my name She is claiming it's invalid because she wants to call her "Rosie" and not "Rosy", and that since I only chose G. Shepard and didn't write-in the pitt mix that she is going to get a license for her with the info changed She also is saying the age is wrong, but since no one knows the real age, I put it down as my b-day (may 6) but that part I see as bs arguement The problem lies in that she took her to her vet for her shots (my car was junked when my sister borrowed it for work for a few weeks and didn't keep the oil up and it had a leak, trashed the engine...)
