My ballot:

(1) Garcia
(2) Yang
(3) Adams
(4) McGuire
(5) Paperboy

Looks like Adams has this in the bag, though the last Data for Progress poll has him losing in a hypothetical scenario where Wiley drops out in the round that it's Adams-Garcia-Wiley (they put that in because Wiley and Garcia were very close in the round).

Precinct-level first round results:

Repugs going to be running on law and order due to the spike in crime and the fake border crisis they conjured up so candidates like Adams are a smart choice.

People in NYC are really soured on progressives too because DeBlasio turned out to be such a lazy piece of shit.

Still better than full on retarded like Trump and a typical Republican nowadays.

From the first choice results"

Garcia => Professional Managerial Class (PMCs) in Manhattan, Dumbo/BK Heights/Park Slope with some support in white ethnic enclaves.

Yang-> All NYC chinatowns (Manhattan Chinatown, Sunset Pk Bk chinatown and Flushing) + Orthodox Jewish envlaves (Borough Park, non-hipster Williamsburg)

Adams -> old school and black new york, winning huge majority black swaths of Southeast Bk and Southwest Queens (Flatbush, East NY, Brownsville, Jamaica, Far Rock, etc..)

Wiley -> hipsters and progressives, dominating hipster brooklyn with hipster williamsburg, greenpoint, fort greene/clinton hill (black/hipster hybrid) falling to her as well as connecting hipsterish areas in Queens (astoria, non-PMC long island city) and the grand daddy of the all taking the Lower East Side/East Village.

should add that Adams dominated the Bronx (outside of Riverdale) and took alot of uptown. the "Garcia" married name didn't give Garcia much pull with NY latinos in the old school areas.

"because DeBlasio turned out to be such a lazy piece of shit."

De Blasio was not so bad and constantly whining about him is part of why Yang did so poorly.

One week in and we still have no idea who won.

The only takeaway from this so far is that New York is wildly incompetent at determining election results.

And Dr Blasio has been an absolute train wreck of a mayor.

Rugian, Well its really just a primary, so its whoever HRC wants in office, they are just waiting for her decision.

If you remembet correctly, the DNC admitted under oath that they do not owe anyone a fair primary and any rules that they claim to abide by are just for.show as they can change them anytime, so evem if they don't change than officially they will just act as if they don't exist because they can.

I forget the case name, but it was Bernie voters VS the DNC and is all public record.Ove posted it on these boards a few.times.

to clarify my OP, Data for Progress created a hypothetical situation where they drop Wiley in the 2nd last round because Wiley and Garcia were so close. In that hypothetical drop out they had Garcia taking enough Wiley votes that she ended up winning the election. That looks like it now has a legit shot of actually happening.

"Latest New York mayoral count voided after ‘test’ ballots included in tally

By JOE ANUTA and DAVID GIAMBUSSO 06/29/2021 11:31 PM EDT Updated 06/30/2021 12:02 AM EDT

NEW YORK — The New York City Board of Elections accidentally included results from a mock trial of the city's new ranked-choice voting system in unofficial primary returns released Tuesday — a snafu that threw the election process into chaos.

Tallies released Tuesday afternoon indicated that Kathryn Garcia had come within 2.2 points of leading Democratic candidate Eric Adams after ranked-choice tabulations were processed. But, shortly after the results were released, reporters and campaign staffers noticed there were roughly 135,000 more votes counted than those reported on election night.

Three hours after releasing the numbers, the Board of Elections issued a statement acknowledging a “discrepancy” and subsequently took down the totals from their website.

After 10 p.m. Tuesday, the board finally came clean with a statement: The “test“ ballots were never cleared out of the tabulation system and thus added the additional votes into the total, skewing the numbers. The board said that it has removed all of the erroneous ballots from the count and will re-run the results — though when the new rankings will be ready was still unclear."

In the past Ive leaned towards nationalised election rules (partly)

And I still think any candidate that can get on 2 state ballots should be able to get on every states ballot, or something similar. My goal is to get Roeublicans from stopping Libertarians and Dems from stopping green party candidates from battleground states....which clearly happened and in an underhanded and shady manner, mostly* from the DNC.

But I don't want people like This anywhere near my ballots.Epic failure.

Watching PBS Newshour and apparently Adams is saying thisnwhole situation seems shady, its either shady or incompetent.

We're going to miss De Blasio when he's gone, how can you not love the levels of cringe this guy manages to regularly produce.
