Jesus. Spreading that kind of deceit from such public news agencies should be a crime.

Not defunding NPR was one of the many failure of Trump and the 2017-2018 Congress.

LoL, and what about the woman who was killed trying to breach the capital.

Literally every conservative news outlet calls her a veteran too.

And conservative media blares that lie loudly for tens of thousands of hours. Meanwhile, this is a tiny blip on NPR which nobody reads.

what's the propaganda?

meanwhile the fraudosphere all over is telling people Biden planning to storm your house & force you to take the vaccine (based on the mention of going door-to-door to help get vaccine out)

nobody said 'force'... there is no reason to think that, i can do no research & know for certain the door-to-door thing was not about forcing it on anyone

Anyone who thinks fox/CNN/msnbc/ OAN/NPR etc. Are legitimate news sites is blind.

Judges have literally ruled that Tucker and Maddow are legally entertainment on par with South Park, but far less entertaining ( possibly less informative too)

The door to door vaccine awareness program ranks as one of the most stupid ideas of this century. The majority of people unwilling to get the vaccine either do not trust big pharmacy or do not trust the government. A government employee knocking on the door asking them to get the vaccine is only going to push them farther into distrust.

No they are not forcing people to get the shot but just knocking on the door will be seen as an intrusion by those they are trying to convince.

So will they come out and vaccinate you at your house?

Ig so, I think it could be a pretty good idea.

Yes plenty of distrust, but I can tell you a lot of poor rural folks just have a hard time getting out. Yes, they could getnput if they have to, but if its right there more people would get it.

"A government employee knocking on the door asking them to get the vaccine is only going to push them farther into distrust."

good thing it's not going to be gov't employees then

"No they are not forcing people to get the shot but just knocking on the door will be seen as an intrusion by those they are trying to convince."

then those people are retards... (and you're also admitting all the usual suspect fuckers saying 'force' on the right are lying)

Okay employee was a bad choice of words. The point still stands though. Not a way to make people feel better about getting the shot. It is a fucking stupid idea.
The wording of the statement was poor.

And the press secretary did use the phrase local officials a few times instead of a more accurate local volunteers.

And after all the Democrats telling them for months leading up to the election that they shouldn't trust the vaccine why would they now want to trust the Democrats saying oh go ahead take it? Democrats brought this shit on themselves because of their insane hatred of President Trump. Some were almost as delusional as you are.

We were told don't wear a mask, wear a mask inside, wear two masks all the time, wipe your groceries down and isolate them for a day before bringing them in the house, don't touch anything ever, not spread by contact with surface, stay six feet apart outside, never mind we got that wrong, oh wait we were right the first time, oops nope plastic barriers in front of cashiers don't do shit, don't trust the vaccine, oh wait nope do trust the vaccine then you can go gather again outdoors where it was never dangerous to gather but wait even after being vaccinated wear two masks while jogging. and on and on and on.

Yeah a knock on the door will restore all the trust.
You are a complete idiot if you think the door to door campaign is a good idea.

"And after all the Democrats telling them for months leading up to the election that they shouldn't trust the vaccine why would they now want to trust the Democrats saying oh go ahead take it?"

that didn't happen... the fucking moron continually gave impression he was rushing vaccine (including publicly pressuring FDA to approve one... before one was even submitted...) & he was silencing experts & making himself the only source of info at briefings, so people (like Kamala) said we aren't trusting the fucking liar moron (as any sane person would) & -would- only trust the experts

also, as the vaccination rates exactly match the electoral map obviously Dem leaders were NOT convincing people not to take it... or are you claiming R's listen to Dems more than Dems do?

-----

"Yeah a knock on the door will restore all the trust"

no, it sure won't amongst you entrenched cultists... but still plenty of people who would get it if made extra convenient or with hearing factual info from local clergy or others they may trust rather than the mother Tuckers out there

"that didn't happen..."

for the rest of the world it did. Who the fuck knows what happened in your little reality.

And you shouldn't trust the vaccination rates charts as they do not take into account lower infection rates and death rates causing less concern about being vaccinated.
Only a simpleton would look at the data and claim the discrepancies in vaccination rates is attributed to political affiliations.

Didn't say shit about masks other than when I pointed out the CDC changing policies I'm guessing decided by throwing a dart while blindfolded at a board.
People didn't wear masks because Fauci said don't wear masks and people said good enough for me.

I really don't get the dislike of door to door vaccinnes.

My governor is trying to prevent it for some crazy reason. The funny thing is that when the vaccinnes first became readily available *he had a to your door program for at risk people*

So he ran a program that brought vaccinnes to at risk peoples doors, but now opposes it for general pop?! Thats crazy.

Many clinics in my area travel in RVs as it is to go to more rural areas and deliver care, very common.

This shouldn't be a partisan issue, vaccinnes are good, making them more easily available is great.

Considering how crazy the current dems are, it should be an easy landslide for Republicans, but no instead they seem to want to say "hold my beer, nobody outcrazies US"

There is no quality political party in the US that just wants basic common sense.

Don't force somebcrazy religion on me that tells me I'm inherently evil because I'm white and male.

Support repairing roads, electrical grids, drainage, prevention of natural.disaster damage (wildfires/hurricanes), you know REAL INFRASTUCTURE.

Make vaccinnes readily and easily available.

Its cool to drill and frack for fuel, but ensure reasonable safeguards and with all that $ thats being made, make sure prevention is cheaper than clean up.

Basic general and preventative health care should be covered by tax dollars, vision and dental too.Our HC already has monopolistic powers , its the LEAST they could do.

Venting....

“People didn't wear masks because Fauci said don't wear masks and people said good enough for me.”

yeah right, the cultists love listening to Fauci... also, how could the experts not know exactly the best measures for preventing a new disease from the start, right?

Fraud politicized it from the very start with the hoax narrative & the dismissiveness has continued to present... and Fox backing him up throughout and their highest-rated show having numerous segments discouraging the vaccine

————

I agree with Habebe, having more common sense, non-fucking liar morons would be great. I wish Bill Maher and SE Cupp types were more favored.

Madison Cawthorn (one of the assholes who argued for ALL mail-in ballots to be trashed... but like the others, he only developed that view after the election occurred of course) has a separate concern w/ the door-to-door plan... if they figure out how to do it they could then use that system to take your guns & bibles:

http://twitter.com/RonFilipkowski/status/1413595082238873607

totally rational fear...

the only important thing is to create fear & outrage over a simple idea meant to be helpful

"also, how could the experts not know exactly the best measures for preventing a new disease from the start, right?"

except that little part where they admitted they lied so their wouldn't be a run on masks.

And remember when the left was busy telling us this isn't a new disease but a variant on a disease that has been around for decades?

And I see nothing wrong with RVs going from neighborhood to neighborhood offering the vaccines. I am saying the door to door information campaign is a stupid idea.

"except that little part where they admitted they lied so their wouldn't be a run on masks"

which was before knowing the risk of asymptomatic spread... also, this now makes your theory that your side didn't wear masks as Fauci said they were not important even though it was known to be that 'lie'... hmmm

or maybe you're just wrong on everything as usual

"I wish Bill Maher and SE Cupp types were more favored."

TW, I could see myself as a Bill Maher Republican.

Honestly my sole complaint about Biden's handling of vaccinne distribution so far has been a lackluster push to jab the hard to gets.

Its the South, work with local doctors, send them door to door, set up at local churches, people who distrust the government still tend to trust their primary doctor and or church friends.

As for kids, inform the parents of realistic pros and cons and let them decide, honestly I don't think it's that big of a deal either way.

We can estimate pros and cons of this program.

Cons

Costs money
Some people may be mildly annoyed.

Pros

It will likely lead to more vacinated people.

Maybe with its success fewer people will have irrational fears of other vaccinnes...a stretch, but still.

[OP]: "far left propaganda"

Back on topic, there really has been an incredible surge in left-wing propaganda in the last four years. They do not even have to hide the propaganda behind the mask of think tanks which indirectly influence culture anymore. People have become so tribal that even outright propaganda outlets such as "Occupy Democrats" and "Gravel Institute" just get widespread acceptance by default. The mob has been won by the meme Coliseum. Biden will give them stupidity, and they will love him for it.
Dukhat

I've never heard of "occupy democrats" and "gravel institute."

Looking up them up, all I see is a bunch of memes, and they're not bad either.

Sounds like more "Antifa" bullshit where you make up some bogeyman that doesn't exist.

Go make some friends, cherub, especially the female kind. You're getting mentally fucked up even by UP standards.

not according to the excuse they used. They said it was to prevent a run on masks.

Sat Jul 10 16:01:47
both things can extremely easily be true... if they didn't know how easily it transmitted by asymptomatic people, then masks not nearly as important for everyone to be wearing

in any case, all of that known very early, one side was willing to adapt to information, one side misled start to finish was not willing to do anything at all (w/ a leader also demonstrating nothing but a poor example over & over, even celebrating avoiding public health measures... oops, sorry Herman Cain & all the others)

and it's continuing straight to the vaccine (obviously), w/ the same anti-mask cult R members discouraging vaccine

Well the CDC and Fauci in particular has a reputation of getting things wrong and misleading people so not surprised they were willing to do it with Covid-19. They did mislead us right from the start and continue to do so.

Yeah, they were trying to protect first responders. Trump fired both the head of the pandemic task force and completely failed to prepare for the pandemic even though there was months of warning. We had no ppe ready. It was a fucking disaster of incompetence.

So fauci did the best he could and told people that they didnt need masks so first responders could get what was available.

Dumb fuck kargen still repeating these idiotic misrepresentations while ignoring critically important context. Typical republican.

TW, In all fairness the FDA has probably killed more people than the CIA.

Also, for Trumps paranoia, as of 2 days ago, we now have proof that undercover FBI operatives ( well at least one, singular) WAS at the original rally and. Inside the capitol.Facts.

Sat Jul 10 23:28:11
not a fact... it was a regular undercover cop (not FBI) & he was merely present outside (not inside)... the mob coming was not a secret so nothing suspicious about wanting cops undercover & not around

What warning?

There was a shortage of PPE gear months before the pandemic hit. The cause was Chinese imports failed to meet US standards for hospital use.

That does not excuse Fauci's lies.

and I've still never been a Republican. I might have been a Democrat for two years.

[Dukhat]: "I've never heard of "occupy democrats" and "gravel institute.""

It is unsurprising that you have no knowledge of outright propaganda streams, given that you seem to be highly susceptible to propaganda. Propaganda tends to be effective when you do not question the authorship and origin.

..
[Dukhat]: "Sounds like more "Antifa" bullshit where you make up some bogeyman that doesn't exist."

And now you move to them not existing? Antifa does, in fact, exist, and to deny that existence is an absurdity of ignorance. But to say that "Occupy Democrats" and "Gravel Institute" do not exist? Now you're just being a fucking idiot. These misinformation super-spreaders were founded by DNC money with an explicit goal of low-level discourse propaganda. Or to pretend that they're not relevant (a "bogeyman")? They have strong relevance; these propaganda streams carry weight on Twitter, Imgur, and Reddit, where the corporate DNC proles get their misinformation.

..
It is very interesting, however, to see how people engage with this sort of material. I know about these propaganda outlets because I pay attention to and record the names disseminating the misinformation, but common idiots like Dukhat probably just see the yellow text of these propaganda outlets, agree, get usefully angry, and carry around an opinion that has no foundation in reality — all while having no idea from where their opinions came.

It is via Occupy Democrats and others that people still believe lies like Trump's "fine people" mis-quote or that Antifa "doesn't exist", yet the people who believe these lies don't even bother looking at the water marks on the memes that they let vomit into their eyes. These useful idiots just thoughtlessly sign on for Tweets by misinformation nodes like Robert Reich, Jeff Tiedrich, Acyn, Occupy Democrats, Gravel Institute, Steven Beschloss, Jon Ossoff, Seth Abramson, etc. And not a thought is had about any of it — just agreement and the resignation that, "all I see is a bunch of memes, and they're not bad either." That is, useful idiots will agree even with propaganda if "they're not bad", where "bad" likely represents some tribal Maginot where the intellect goes to die.

Incidentally, people should definitely be paying attention to their particular nodes and how those nodes disseminate information or misinformation. All of these nodes have dissemination centers, staffed by real people or just sock puppets. The saddest thing is seeing people like Dukhat who carry water for the sock puppets.

I would consider it an intrusion and I'm all for vaccination. You can't save everyone. The rest of us just have to hope that a far deadlier variant sweeps the country and cleans up the gene pool a little.
