Has anyone else been following this?

So, he is a journalist, works a lot with pointing put corruption, not a party hack.

Worked on the Sanders campaign, currently has been suspended on Youtube, now some associates as well.

Why? "Spreading medical misinformation" because he made a clearly comedic video I years ago about Starbucks and this happened just after his "big tech censorship" video came out, which was also removed because it doesnt meet community standards.

(& i confirmed his channel 'Matt Orfalea' is visible w/ many many videos)

i -do- know one game guy claimed YouTube auto-transcribes videos & if it detects swearing you get demonetized... given their size, i'm not surprised their system is automated & not surprised it makes errors

it's also really good at detecting music, i know i put a song in a video awhile back that it quickly detected & prevented me from using (although i think people just file 'fair use' claims if they want to get around that, it wasn't important enough for me to try)

Now apparently some chick and him had a video criticizing CNN, apparently she got suspended, not CNN.

You have heard of him.I stumbled across him debating you. I forget what* we were debating, but I remember I kept putting off looking something up (because it was super tedious and long) he was the source, anyway, in researching I had found he already did the tedious work....I wish I could remember what it was.

It started from his appearance on I think Jimmy Dore.

i can't speak for the particular video, but as it's an automated system & sent her a form letter explanation i doubt it's some nefarious conspiracy (not done for 'exposing' anyone)

i mean people can still rage against their general policies if they want to... rage against the machine

YouTube finally admits they were in error.But they have not re monetized his videos.

Regardless, more reasons we need viable alternatives.

Also Google/android shouldnt be allowed to prioritize YT, seems reasonably monopolistic.

Yes, you can post.videos elsewhere, but not in a similar manner to YT.If you want to to profit off of video content, your choices are YT and only fans.

Hell, while were at it, we have way too few ISP companies. Remember when the internet was new and exciting and there was an ISP in every neighborhood?

Feel free to come up with a competitor. At least youtube started decreasing the amount of far-right propaganda. Facebook is what turned a third of my family into raving Trump lunatics.

Are you denying that big tech is monopolistic in nature?

For starters Facebook should be forced to allow you to export your freinds list to competitors and have cross platform communication.

Its not rocket science, if I can email someone with a Yahoo email from my Gmail, it can be done from messenger to whatever.

As for censorship, the issue is that they clearly target everyone but DNC hacks.

Its not just the right, but the Bernie left as well. The DNC has been proven to act shady as fuck to the point of under oath in cpirt claiming they don't owe voters a fair primary process.
