The consensus seems to be Harris is a hot mess, and as it currently stands, has almost no chance to beat Trump if an election were held tomorrow.

Now that said, 2024 is a long ways away.

I remember vaguely remarking to Jergul that barring some MAJOR unforseen event we will have 8 straight years of Trump....about October ish 2019.

That is kind of her thing. Laugh or tell a bad joke whenever she is uncomfortable. The funny part is the reporter read off a list of stuff and says that is a lot for one person but VP Harris hasn't done shit for anything on the list other than laugh any time someone asks her a question.

To Harris' credit all the bad stuff on the border is the fault of President Biden. He is the one that got caught up in a frenzy with the executive orders.

I don't know. Since Trump left office I've been able to relax and mostly ignore the news.

VPs don't really do much of anything anyway.

Except Dick Cheney, and we all saw how that turned out.

The conspiratorial side of me wonders if Trump wasn’t a deep state plant, sent to shock the system and drive the sheep insane, then turn things back to ”normal”. And by normal I mean all the structural problems are the same as they were during Trump, Obama, Clinton, Bush etc and so on and we are actually much further down the shit slide. But by all means, relax, have some grass and frolic in the meadows, the orange man is gone, sheepherd Joe will fix it all.

Except his power becomes too great and he becomes uncontrollable , yadda yadda T-Virus, Yadda Yadda. Nuclear spill makes him glow orange and some sort of superpowers...maybe some little girl is the chosen one who can defeat him or something else.
