Nimatzo iChihuaha	Sat Sep 25 07:51:56 Me and the boy (4y) played through our first game together, Sonic Forces on the PS4. He played and then we he would get stuck I would get us through it. I was never a huge fan of the game, but it’s still a cool moment, Sonic has been around since I was a kid, I played it as a kid. Now this game will be etched in my memory for another 30 years! Anyone have any cool PS4 games for a 4 year old?

Habebe Member	Sat Sep 25 21:51:21 Id say any simple beat em up (2 player) would be good. I like start kids out with them or wander around games that they wont die every 3 seconds. Does he like ninja turtles?They usually have good beat em up games.

Habebe Member	Sat Sep 25 21:55:02 My neice is starting to be interested in actually playing games now (6yr). I'm going to start them off with a rigged emulator w/control for NES/SNES/Genesis. I figure its easier to start from there and then go forth to newer games, these can be nice and simple, a million of them for free and if they start out on a ps4 they will never appreciate the older games.

Habebe Member	Sat Sep 25 22:05:11 Or honestly, I think any 4 yr old would love to play the original bubble bobble (NES, probably remakes) Plus what's nice is you can get them on switch. Your two little dragons that collect floating prizes while catching the bad guys in bubbles and popping them. The levels progressively get tougher. Switch has plenty of beat em up games that are entertaining while still playable for an adult and a 4 yr old (Golden axe lets you ride dragons)

Pillz Don't give me any ideas, buying an entire new console... although the PS4 controllers are too big for a 4 year old and they are releasing a OLED version... hmmm.
Nekran Member	Sun Sep 26 04:57:15 I bought a switch a couple of years back purely for when my nephews come over. Have not regretted it... when it comes to just plain fun shit to do with kids around a tv, it's bloody great. I never use it when they're not here though... I only played Zelda when I had just gotten it and very rarely I will play Baba is you with it outside in the backyard, which is the only time I've ever used the handheld function. The nephews still fucking love it too, even though they're 10 and 11 by now and have a PS4 at home.

kargen Member	Mon Sep 27 18:17:58 My friends boy really liked Spiro the Dragon right around that age. He got stuck a lot though when he finally got around to trying to do more than run around in circles breathing fire.
