If we had kept the Overton Window centered on debating the acceptability of L, G, and B relationships, the political debate on this issue would be a lot more reasonable today. Instead, conservatives rolled over on this front, and now we're having to talk about how 2SLGBTQQIA+ people and their "rights" to compel society to arbitrarily abolish 6,000+ years of gender norms for their benefit. Give leftist extremists and inch and they'll take a mile.
