"Because Trump wouldnt pay him, probably cheaper to have his legs broke."

exactly

1) he stiffs even people who work for him, he's a cheap asshole bastard
2) he is a petty child, he'd never give his own money to someone who has called him a stupid piece of shit fucking moron toddler fraud a thousand times (& taking a loan would still be his money to spend even if he's never paying it back)
3) he'd far more likely use the $100,000 (in donations) to cause harm... he prefers to try to get his enemies fired, arrested, destroy their lives
4) he -does- inappropriately spend charity & political donation money

∴ in your rare jergul universe of him actually paying me, it would be donation money

FBI agent Andrew McCabe, who Trump had fired right before he was retiring to screw over his pension, has gotten all that reversed (& legal fees)

that’s sure to anger the toddler... also, I will note again that what McCabe was accused of was ‘lack of candor’ related to giving info to the media negative -to Hillary-... I’m certain when Fraud rages on this he will again mislead, as he does 100% of the time, that McCabe did some corrupt acts against him... but as usual with Trump claims, zero of that has been shown

Powell literally helped drag the US into a war based on lies. That war has resulted in hundreds of thousands killed, instability across the entire Middle East, ancient ethnic groups forced from their homes, and trillions of dollars down the drain.

But okay, Trump is the REAL bad guy for making insensitive tweet (even though he DID say "rest in peace," which is more than what Powell deserves).

In his own very special way, he was a RINO’s RINO. Despite his fighting against me, I won Arizona by a lot in 2016 and won Arizona by even more in 2020—unfortunately the vote counters in 2020 were far more important than the candidate (See the determinative Report issued Wednesday by the Arizona Auditors!). I have since found out that McCain, who was close to last in his class at Annapolis, sent the fake and totally discredited scam Dossier to the FBI, hoping to stop the “Trump Train.” In any event, Meghan should fight the Communists instead of explaining how they beat her, hurt her, and made her “physically ill.” She should fight back against the Losers of The View the way she fights against very good and well-meaning Republicans, and she would do herself a world of good!"

I pointed out that Colin Powell played a major role in the single most disastrous foreign policy decision of the 21st century, one that has destroyed countless lives and destabilized an entire region of the globe.

And your grand rebuttal to that was "well who would you want to babysit your dog."

twitter thread from Robert Costa (co-author of "Peril"):

"
thread on Willard from "Peril"

After Pence leaves Oval on Jan. 5, Trump is furious. Pence isn't breaking. He opens the door near the Resolute Desk. "A rush of cold air blasted the room." He can hear the mob in the streets outside the Willard. He's elated to hear them.

As staffers filed in, some began to shiver. Still, Trump did not close the door... The noise outside grew louder, almost like a party.

'Isn't that great?' Trump exclaimed. 'Tomorrow is going to be a big day.'

Trump went around the room, asking for advice about congressional Republicans. 'How do we get them to do the right thing?' he asked. No one offered an answer that satisfied him.

Trump then calls Senator Cruz. You need to object to all the states that could be raised by the House, Trump said. Cruz says his group will object to Arizona and focus on calling for his proposed commission to probe the election. Trump is unhappy, wants more to be done.

With his back to the wall and Pence not budging, and Senate Rs holding to doing their own thing, Trump decides to turn to the Willard group for backup, for more aggression. He knows the mob is outside. He knows Bannon, Giuliani, Boris, Eastman, etc. are over there.

People in the streets were yelling, delighted and almost euphoric about Trump possibly taking back the election on Wednesday. They waited to see Giuliani and other Trump stars emerge from the Willard. They nodded warmly at others in red hats, a movement in total solidarity.

Trump decides to act, with help from Willard war room. Push Pence to brink.

Late Tuesday evening... Trump directed his campaign to issue a statement claiming that he and Pence were in 'total agreement that the Vice President has the power to act.' [Marc] Short was stunned.

"This breaks protocol," Short said tersely.

[Jason] Miller refused to retract a word.

"The vice president has the ability to do this, he needs to be loyal," Miller said.

Trump soon called Giuliani, and then called Steve Bannon, who was also at the Willard.

With Bannon, Trump brought up his meeting with Pence. There had been a power shift. "He was very arrogant," Trump said. "Very arrogant," Trump repeated. To Bannon and others, Trump's four words were sobering. Pence was not going to break.

But Trump, Willard crew kept pushing...

Giuliani wonders if he should go see Pence at the Naval Observatory. A 1-on-1. Make it happen. Old school, Trump lawyer to VP. For Pence advisers, the suggestion "felt straight out of a bad mafia movie."

Based on our reporting, the Willard scene on Jan. 5, 2021 and into early hours of Jan. 6, 2021 is the culmination of a pressure campaign to prevent Biden from taking office. They first tried (and failed) in the courts. Then they pushed Eastman memo/argument to VP. Relentless.

By the time Trump takes the stage on Jan. 6, he has pulled every possible lever of power to try to stay in power. Courts via Rudy. VP via Eastman. Lawmakers. DOJ. Now, all that is left to stoke, the last lever, is the sprawling crowd before him./end
"
http://twitter.com/costareports/status/1451953928791379969

if you don't believe it happened, why? what sounds hard to believe? there was plenty of public pressure on Pence, why wouldn't there be more privately? plus we know of multiple private efforts by Trump calling election officials & DOJ, asking them to find things they didn't find... & the Eastman memo factually exists (the plan for Pence to follow to hand election to Trump)

so just the typical war room of criminals trying to overthrow an election by every means necessary based on made-up lies... no need for any accountability

& of course Trump busy trying to replace as many people w/ loyalists as possible for next time...

Because the memo was released directly in response to the NSBA letter, which DID liken parents to "domestic terrorists" (and suggested they be prosecuted under the PATRIOT Act).

Garland even testified before the House last week that the letter certainly played a role in the decision to issue the memo...so it's definitely relevant.

The NSBA letter has undeniably been a massive public relations disaster...over twenty state SBAs have distanced themselves from it, and 3 have entirely broken ties with the NSBA as a result. The NSBA board has since been forced to apologize and claim that the letter was sent out without their approval.

The fact that the DOJ acted as it did in response to such an abominable demand letter is shocking. And can you point to any reason they would have issued their memo had the NSBA not sent the letter? The letter is *the* reason the memo was published.

We also know that the White House corresponded with the NSBA to have them issue the letter in the first place...then the WH turned around and "discussed" it with Garland prior to the DOJ's memo release. You would have absolutely characterized that as a move to undermine the independence of the AG if Trump had pulled that stunt.

On that note, this whole fiasco has NOTHING whatsoever to do with Trump, so I don't know why you're trying to defend it. After all, it's not like you're just a leftist hack who blindly sides with everything the Democrats do or anything.

~ breathless shocked moron Senator Marsha Blackburn

sure sounds like she's talking about the completely reasonable memo that he released and not a letter he had nothing to do with

and the letter isn't the only reason for the memo, plenty of reports & video of crazed threatening parents

-------
Ted Cruz: "You just called him a domestic terrorist!" (false)

Merrick Garland: "I did not!" (true)

& Ted super angry that Garland didn't retract his completely reasonable memo

"and not a letter he had nothing to do with"

I love how these threads of yours have consistently shown that you have no understanding of the transitive property.

The DOJ memo was released in direct response to the NSBA letter. It wouldn't have been released if the NSBA hadn't written their letter, and it was only released because they did.

that isn’t established and isn’t that relevant

what in the memo is shocking? what is over the top? what will strike fear into the hearts of law-abiding Tennesseans?

and Marsha Blackburn is one of the biggest Trumpers in the Senate & the most violent parents likely to be cultists thus fits thread

Threatening to unleash federal agents on parents whose big "crime" is daring to question the teachers' unions and the educational decisions being made on behalf of their children would strike some as a bit scary.

“Threatening to unleash federal agents on parents whose big "crime" is daring to question the teachers' unions and the educational decisions being made on behalf of their children would strike some as a bit scary.”

did you read the memo, or just being like R politicians? as that’s not in it

and it was crazed threatening parents that inspired the letter you object to, so continue your transitive property up the line to where the fault lies

maybe school board members don’t need to live in fear for their lives, just like all the election officials receiving death threats primarily due to one fucking shitbag (who has inspired death threats vs countless people since coming down the escalator... probably more than any non-Imam ever has)

-more- should be done on cracking down on all the threats, not less... rather than apologizing for discouraging threats as Rs want apparently

The clue is in the name, FEDERAL Bureau of Investigation.

You don't call in those guys for just any crime. If some yahoo is threatening a school official, that's a job for the local police to handle.

You know what DOES concern the FBI though? Domestic terrorism. Which, wouldn't you know it, is the exact crime that these parents were accused of in the letter that prompted the DOJ response.

And no, Trump is not exclusively or even primarily responsible for parents' negative reaction to the shit the school boards have been forcing on schools...there's absolutely zero basis for that assertion, and it in fact you saying it proves just how little you actually know about this story.

Maybe instead of blaming the boogie man, look in your own backyard and recognize that the political left has been going down the road of extremism, and prompting the backlash that we're now seeing.

Or do you think parents are completely unjustified in protesting?

Trump is 99% responsible for the massive quantity of death threats vs election officials (& members of news media, & various gov't officials doing their jobs, & women assaulted by him, & various actors, etc...)

the cult leader has cultivated a death threat oriented violent cult*

he also politicized the pandemic & masks & vaccines more-so than ANY fit leader would have as well as causing a mass disinformation network to form fueling hostility

and since you don't want to read the memo, how about this sentence

"While spirited debate about policy matters is protected under our Constitution, that protection does not extend to threats of violence or efforts to intimidate individuals based on their views"

it mentions NOTHING about persecuting people over protesting or arguing or any lawful actions

speaking of Trump's proven violent cult, here's Tucker taking another stab at completely misinforming the public about Jan 6th:
http://twitter.com/TuckerCarlson/status/1453517062073110540

Tucker being the guy who claimed the gov'ts own docs show FBI agents organized Jan 6th (no docs do that) & who also concluded one person was an FBI agent which was debunked in <24 hrs (person was a cultist's wife)

Tucker giving that mis-information out on the top-rated show of an alleged news network

anyway, i'm sure lots more real trustworthy stuff in that above show

Turns out if you are Republican you can say anything about the President or the US at any time with impunity.

Phony outrage. Phony "values".

Bernie being a notable exception of pointing out how fucked that is.

So when they say they lost per k and child care, the Democrats scrapped those by choice to give a tax cut for billionaires.

Its an odd day when Bernie and Trump agree in contrast to the rest of the DNC.

"So when they say they lost per k and child care, the Democrats scrapped those by choice to give a tax cut for billionaires."

SALT doesn't have anything to do with anything. Manchin and Sinema first split the 2 bills so they could race ahead with the hard infrastructure bill to get it out of Bernie's hands ... and then started gutting the BBB bill. They essentially tore it in half. They've been delaying until the House passed the BIF bill because they are going to keep on gutting the BBB bill.

There is nothing the progressives could have agreed to that would have advanced the BBB bill out of the Senate before the BIF bill passed because gutting it more and more was always the plan.

The worst part is that Biden, Schumer, and Pelosi were in on it ... and so was Jayapal.

Manchin and Sinema delayed the bill while Jayapal and Pelosi slow walked progressives to capitulation.

At this point progressives have no leverage and have to vote for whatever the fuck is put in front of them.

Murder, Its a simple fact that during negotiations on the price of the bill they fought to keep some things and not others.

The democrats decided to die on the hill of SALT taxes on the spending bill til 2031 at a cost of half a trillion dollars.

How many other things could they have financed like universal pre K and family leave time if they didn't give the top 5% wealthiest taxpayers a half a trillion dollar tax cut.

Its an absolute fact that Donald Trump had a more progressive tax plan than Biden because Trump capped them at 10k.

The party of tax the rich.
