Ive been wanting to dabble into some raspberry pi projects for fun.

Has anyone hear used any. Rasp. Or orange/Banana Pi?

I think I'll start with the 4 and make an emulator.

Ive also got a few other projects I want to try.

For my dad I just want a stationary tablet that jas large simple buttons so he can browse Google/Amazon get the 5 day forecast on weather and organize his Dr. Appointments.

For my brother in law, he spends 100s of dollars for these walmart shitty mini arcades.

I want to build a super arcade, 4 player with every game for NES/SNES/GENESIS/Arcade maybe even some ps1 or 2.

With real arcade controls bit the option to USB controls depending on the game.

Rig up a thermostat/Hygromostat to automate my mushroom grows.

IDK, lots of fun ideas.

The new pi zero 2 is out. Pretty impressive for $15 and the size of your pinky finger.

Just as small. Five times as fast.
At the heart of Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is RP3A0, a custom-built system-in-package designed by Raspberry Pi in the UK. With a quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1GHz and 512MB of SDRAM, Zero 2 is up to five times as fast as the original Raspberry Pi Zero.

Wireless LAN is built in to a shielded enclosure with improved RF compliance, giving you more flexibility when designing with Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W.

All in the same tiny 65mm × 30mm form factor.

If you like building ypur own PC or tinkering with electronics you would probably find it fun.

Plus it great to customize things to your liking that are not generally offered in the market.
