Anyone think this guy isn't guilty?

Maybe Jergul, he could have thought the guy was an active shooter.

To anyone who forgets

A redneck father and son chased down a black guy running past their house as he fled from robbing the neighbors abandoned house.

So they chased him down and shot him dead when he panicked from being chased down with a pick up and armed rednecks.

Seems like they had justification to chase him?

Chase? Mabey. Confront with a gun? Then shoot? No.

A simple "Hey mother fucker, I'm taking tour picture to the cops"

IMHO is plenty enough deterent for the situation.

Now keep in mind, they didnt see any crime being committed. But evidence found out later like the guy robbing houses innthe area before makes it seem he was.

But even if he 100% was, thats no cause to shoot him while he runs away.

The crime is that an upstanding citizen is going to prison for executing a lawbreaker.

Ahmaud Arbery

"... as he fled from robbing the neighbors abandoned house."

I must have missed it ... what did Ahmaud Arbery steal?

Murder, Its my understanding that he did not steal anything that day.But it fits his past MO of casing houses acting as a bigger and then robbing them later

It was from when this first happened, someone posted it on the past thread.

So a likely law breaker.

But no excuse to shoot him.

"Murder, Its my understanding that he did not steal anything that day.But it fits his past MO of casing houses acting as a bigger and then robbing them later"

It fits your understanding that he did not steal ... but you nonetheless described him as fleeing from a house he just robbed. It also fits your understanding that this guy that you understand to have not stolen anything must be responsible for the thefts in the area.

I see.

"But it fits his past MO of casing houses acting as a bigger and then robbing them later"

I must have been napping. Do you have a link where it describes his past MO?

No link, it was from this board back when this first happened.

Find out when this happened and google these boards.

I wont bother because this aint my hill. Mabey he was totally innocent of any wrong doing.

Doesn't make any difference.Even if he was breaking the law you can't chase down someone fleeing , then attack them and claim self defense.

i didn't pay much attention to testimony, but i believe the murderer admitted to intercepting the on-foot victim 3x w/ his vehicle, w/ victim fleeing each time before murderer stopped him yet again and shot him

and i think the murderer never made any claim of making a citizen's arrest

thus a Zimmerman w/ extra stalking & no ground pound
(although w/ Rittenhouse, some people claiming that if someone reaches for your gun you can assume they will take it and kill you with it)

here's the video of shooting (this after multiple interceptions by the murderers):

this video goes a bit longer, w/ different audio... i wouldn't trust audio on either (not sure when exactly he's getting injured and murdered):

It doesn't really matter. Their defense is ...

"We're white. We're your neighbors. We're the good guys. Maybe he wasn't stealing, but this killing sends a message to remind blacks that they don't belong in our neighborhoods."

They have at least a 50/50 shot of getting off despite their crime being on video and being completely indefensible.

Also I hear that home prices have shot up in that neighborhood by 50%.

They have less than a 5% chance of not being found guilty.

Only antifa wannabes and blacks routinely get away with crimes.

Remember the summer of fire? How many areas refused to even prosecute.

"Mr Arbery was out for an afternoon jog in the coastal city of Brunswick.

The elder Mr McMichael, a neighbourhood resident, told police he believed Mr Arbery resembled the suspect in a series of local break-ins. Police have said no reports were filed regarding these alleged break-ins.

The McMichaels armed themselves with a pistol and a shotgun and pursued Mr Arbery in a pickup truck through the neighbourhood."

"Five days later, footage from a surveillance camera emerged, showing a black man in a white T-shirt - believed to be Mr Arbery - at a home construction site shortly before the shooting.

He is seen walking on to the site and looking around for a few minutes before jogging down the street.
During the trial, the site's owner, Larry English Jr, testified that the man in question had not disturbed or damaged his property during the visit.

Mr English said cameras had spotted other people - including children and a white couple - trespassing on his property, but he never authorised the McMichaels to enter his property or confront anyone.

Jurors were also shown bodycam footage of the armed McMichaels searching for a suspected burglar at Mr English's property 12 days before the jogger was killed."

The two are claiming they were trying to detain Arbery until police arrived by making a citizens arrest. They admitted in court though they did not call the police. Under the citizen's arrest law, an individual could detain someone they had seen committing a serious crime and if the suspect was trying to escape. They didn't see a crime being committed.

Another site says the only theft in the area was a handgun stolen out of the sons pick-up he left unlocked.

I saw the video I think more than a year ago and thought then the two were headed for jail. I'm surprised they aren't there yet.

the 1st assault charge is for using the guns, 2nd one for using the vehicles

the 4 felony murder charges seem to be because of the 4 additional felony charges leading to the murder (the 2x ag assault, false imprison & intent to commit)

(so that's why camera guy got 3 of 4 murder charges w/ his 3 of 4 additional felonies... & was pretty much screwed over by his gun-toting friends)

A criminal gets hunted down by morons who kill him. Criminal dies. His killers get life behind bars. Sounds good to me.
