Rep. Elise Stefanik @RepStefanik

Over 800 pounds of fentanyl were seized at our Southern Border in October.

This is Biden’s Border Crisis.

I'll happily admit that Elise Stefanik isnt going to be winning any Greatest Statesman awards in her lifetime.

Comparing her occasional dumb statements to AOC's programme for turning the US into El Venezuela Norte though...its not even a contest in terms of who's less undesirable.

She is right. If we had more security on the border maybe they wouldn't be trying to get that much shit into our country.
The increase in death related to fentanyl should be proof enough there is a real problem with drugs coming across our border.

She isn't upset we seized the drugs. She is upset that is just a tiny dent in the amount suspected of crossing over.

But read it how you will.

They are actively working to make sure it never ends ... and then bitching that it never ends.

Logical fallacy: harsher measures don't stop Covid.

Harsher measures also don't stop theft and murder. And yet, we don't just ignore these crimes, like you propose we do with covid.

Measures against something aren't either 100% efficient either not worth doing. That's not how things work.

Now which measures are sensible and which are not is certainly debatable. But considering you already think wearing masks in crowded places is too much of a constriction of your freedom, you're not exactly a sensible preson to talk to about that.

Fair enough, you want to treat ordinary citizens like felonious criminals.

Yeah, that is exactly what I said... could you be any more of a caricature?

Its exactly what you said.

Emergency Covid measures have turned entire countries into outsize prisons, and turned their citizens into virtual prisoners.

Congratulations bro. You sacrificed your own liberties because your hospitals were occasionally busier than normal last year.

"Logical fallacy: harsher measures don't stop Covid."

Of course they do. Harsher measures can stop anything. Quarantines have a long history of success.

And I'm sure that someday you'll be happy that your surgeon doesn't have that same attitude.

"What's with all the hand washing?! Why do we have to keep sterilizing our surgical instruments?"

"Its exactly what you said."

Don't be a clown. I was showing the fallacy of expecting 100% succes or thinking it's not worth bothering otherwise.

I could've gone with any example. A condom isn't 100% efficient. And yet, that does not render them useless. Far from it.

Your insistence that this disease should be ignored is nothing short of retarded.

And your resistance to small and useful measures like wearing a mask in a crowded space is nothing short of pathetic.

He'll even wear a mask. That poor prisoner.

People have died and are dying ... in large numbers.

The problem is that some people read those words and think "Yeah. So?"
