The first amendment, you that whole idea of free speech is really just a boat anchor.

1) This guy sounds like a shitbag.

2) Social media is inevitably going to be divided along ideological lines. With leftists currently controlling all of the existing companies, conservatives are going to be itching to flee to a service that doesn't treat them like they're evil Big Tech managed to censor Parler, but eventually conservatives are going to come up with a successor service with enough financial and technological backbone to survive.

We are quickly approaching the point where conservatives and leftists will inhabit completely different segments of the internet. And that's almost certainly a bad thing, but it's a consequence of the pro-censorship stance of the left and the left's monopoly over social media.

Twitter is not a public space.

May as well. You already have your own version of reality.

The CEO of a company who holds as much power over world wide communications is a guy who I would prefer to strive towards free speech instead of treating it like it holds you back.

Twitter is a small subset of worldwide communication. But even if it was the biggest, it's still not a public space.

I'm not sure I've ever read a tweet other than ones that are linked in these forums.

If everyone of us invites only two friends to this forum we can become bigger than Twitter in no time!
