Is Putin plotting an attack on Sweden?

Da Swedish Minister of Defense Peter Hultqvist says that an attack on Sweden can not be ruled out. And so he has deployed tanks and troops to the Swedish island Gotland in the Baltic Sea.

The tanks and the troops are now patroling da streets of Gotland. So are we safe from a Russian invasion now?

I remember in 2002/2003 when Tony Bliar of Britain ordered out tanks on the streets in London and on Heathrow Airport, like he thought that an invasion of London was imminent. But we all know that was just a trick. Saddam wasn’t about to invade London. The US and UK was about to invade Iraq.

Really though. I think it's just Nato and our leaders who wants to convey a message that "Russia is bad". They want to tell the people that "Russia is the enemy" and that "You should be afraid of Russia" and "Support the US/Nato". The same message that Tony Bliar sent to the Brits when he ordered out tanks on the streets of London: "Iraq may attack us in any moment", "We are the victims", "Iraq is the enemy", "Support our war on Iraq".

The US is now saying that ”Reverting to a familiar “playbook,” Russia is plotting a pretext to invade Ukraine”.

Familiar to the US maybe. Remember the false pretext of wmd that was used to attack Iraq?

Maybe it is the US and Ukraine who are plotting something, and everything we hear on the news about ”Russia is planning an attack” is just smokescreens and propaganda.

Anyhoo. You can’t trust the media to tell you the truth. Especially not in conflicts.

I disagree that Sweden is Left or one of the most left wing countries in the world. Sweden has never been as little to the left as it is now.

Maybe it is the US who needs and is plotting a war in Europe in order to stop the Nord Stream 2, to stop Europe from buying gas from a Russian company and instead buy from American companies so that American oligarchs can get rich.

Earlier attempts by the US to stop Nord Stream 2 failed. So now they have to initiate Plan B. A military conflict.

You don’t have to. It is Ukraine who will have to fight Russia. The U.S goal is that the pressure on Germany will be so high that they no longer can buy gas from Russia and will buy from the US instead.

The US is just hoping that Russia will fall into the trap and attack Ukraine. Perhaps some Ukrainan will be told to attack Russia in a way that Russia will respond. The US will then blame Russia and say that it was a false flag attack, that Russia attacked itself in order to have a reason to attack Ukraine. But in reality, it was Ukraine on the orders of the US who attacked Russia.

That fight wouldn't last long. Ukraine is completely overmatched and NATO countries aren't even supplying them with quality weapons to fight with. It would be a rout.
