The asshole part to me is how he does these endarounds to fire underperformers. If that's the goal, do that, and be straight up about it. He might be trying to avoid unemployment claims or something, dunno. But my problems with Musk are far beyond these things, he has a track record of being disingenuous.

I'm amazed it's still above $300. Did +750% over the past 5 years, the last thing anyone needs to be think about is it "collapsing". More like a healthy correction.

Some think they can maintain it at 70-80% like they are at right now which means they are worth a lot. Some think they haven't built much brand equity and that will collapse once the bigs like Toyota start producing EV's en masse instead of bribing Congress to slow down adoption. And then there's other issues like supply bottlenecks that Tesla has a leg up on other companies on for now in terms of materials for batteries. I had some shares of Tesla but tend to follow Bill Gate's investing and shorted the hell out of it, especially when Elon Musk started really committing to his political bullshit. All just a distraction from him trying to divest himself of crashing Tesla shares and replacing them with Twitter shares (ignore the theater, follow the money). I was more on splitting the difference on what people expected from a future Tesla but now I'm leaning towards their market share being on the small side. Elon Musk alienating the yuppie progressive demographic that buys EV's is a fucking boneheaded move. This isn't politics, it's just business.
