Swedish state owned power company Vattenfall is conducting a feasibility study for building 2 small modular reactors at Ringhals, that currently still houses 2 nuclear reactors. However changes in the law are needed to facilitate and remove ambiguity, because government policy is still very ambiguous.

Recently the social democrats have changed their tone from nuclear being out of the question to every possibility should be considered, as an answer to a question about nuclear power. Eventually this will turn into, nobody has been a bigger supporter of nuclear power than us.

We are taking about early 2030's for working reactors. We can hope that the feasibility study results in more than 2 reactors.
