They keep folding in influences from all sorts of great works and making it their own. Clearly its had atleast vibes from a bunch of 80s mocies like the goonies and ET. Theyve even seemed to work in freddy Krueger. But I also sense a strong legacy of Pain influence. Which itself was influenced by the wheel of time and Lovecraft. But they do such a great job at taking an influence, mixing it up and making it thwir own thing.

But wait, think of something emotional and scream and you win with the caveat that its super temporary and its about to get WAY worse....which you can tell by ABC being different and no one paying it much mind.
