Seen this on my regular news today.

Farmers are revolting and the government is calling them extremists.

I haven’t heard, seen or read anything about this until now.

Don’t know if I really care much about farmers in the Netherlands.

The climate is important. But people having jobs and food is also important.

I think it is interesting that when police in Holland open fire on protestors I find nothing on the BBC or SVT. Would be interesting to compare with how quickly we are notified about a mass shooting in the USA.

I mean that whole Floyd tragedy, they had special segments with crying and authentic black people, comforting "Journalists" and everything on SVT.

I'm just thinking that perhaps these events in Holland and the reason for why people are protesting, maybe is more relevant for us in the EU than mastrubating over the "deeply racist" American culture.

It seems that the ember in this fire is precisely something I have been worried about in the crusade against GWGs. They are actually going after food.

Stop traveling with airplanes, take the bus! Stop eating meat, eat soy! Stop using so much electricity, use candles! Stop having babies, get a cat, no no wait. Cats eat meat, get a rabbit!

I should add for context

The Dutch police habe stated they fired warning shots before shooting at the tractors, not targeting people but the tractors they were riding.

Again, this is the cops take on the story, but it does admit they were shooting at the tractors with live ammunition.

Nimatzo, Yes they are blatantly wanting enforced reduced food production.

The narratives Ive seen against the protestors is strikingly similar to the Truckers in Canada, they seem to be calling them "anti climate radicals and extremists" painting them in alt right shades.

I am tempted to say that people will rise against this, but am reminded of a the countless of real life conversation I have had with sheep wearing human clothing. Here is a recent one with a coworker about Sweden joining NATO (he wa negative). I asked, so what do you think we should do?

”Sit still and make as little movement and noise.”

^That’s what rabbits do I told him. He laughed and the conversation moved on.
