"Diseases don't recognize state borders."

Doesn't matter, we still have a limited government of enumerated powers and checks and balances, and that all doesn't get tossed by the wayside just because some people are getting a cold.

And as if masks are even effective at stopping Covid in the first place. Lol

Fortunately the federal government is empowered to provide for the general welfare and that doesn't get tossed aside just because some rugged individualists are feeling a little crowded by government regulations.

Where would the CDC get such authority to over ride a sovereign state?

That's the real issue.

It's ironic to see folks handwringing over diseases crossing borders while they shill for infectious caravans being processed in tent cities and then disseminated throughout the nation over the protests of the states lol

yeah because they are wearing cloth and/or paper thin masks that barely pass as protection from dust while working in the yard. You know, the ones that the CDC said we should use so that there wouldn't be a run on the ones that actually might have worked.
