The left was claiming it was in relation to sex trafficking a minor, claiming he banged a 17 yr old hooker in exchange for ID. So I went to the most prejudicial source, MSNBC and found very thin evidence. "According to the Post’s report, which has not been independently verified by MSNBC or NBC News, it was Johnny McEntee who told investigators that Gaetz had assured him that he’d done nothing wrong, but the congressman thought it would be “great” if Trump could give him a pardon anyway. Gaetz, according to McEntee’s testimony, had already asked then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows for a pardon. The Post’s report added:" So already can't be verified by MSNBC/NBC. No idea who McEntee is though. But let's go tonthe actual quote. "Asked by investigators if Gaetz’s request for a pardon was in the context of the Justice Department investigation into whether Gaetz violated federal sex trafficking laws, McEntee replied, “I think that was the context, yes,” according to people familiar with the testimony who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive matters." He thinks that was the context. So even the eye witness is unsure if that was what happened, and that is the entire case for this claim, seems susoect AF and we don't even know the guys motives. But prosecutors today recommended no charges even be filed, so odds are this was a political attack with no basis in reality. Imagine that.
tumbleweed the wanderer	Fri Sep 23 17:38:12 "Gaetz found innocent" completely false also the evidence had nothing to do w/ Gaetz asking for a pardon what i heard reported is they don't feel the co-conspirator credible enough for conviction (the co-conspirator being Gaetz friend who already was convicted & definitely aided Gaetz in paying girls for sex) although a big mistake made by prosecutors as that co-conspirator was given a cooperation agreement that they are now deciding (apparently, if no charging news is accurate) isn't credible enough

Other than he knew a guy who got in trouble for that and the guy cut a deal to point the finger. Its literally all this guys word AFAIK*. Where is the girl in all this? She was.almost 18 then, she should be like 20 now, right? Did she have any texts or anything?

" they have the Venmo payments afaik, & probably plenty of other evidence... why would we know all their evidence?
