Project veritas sent a journalist undercover to spy on a consulting firm (Democratic, of course) and used a hidden camera.

They were found guilty of breaching their fiduciary duty since the evidence they acquired led to the firm losing business, fined $120k.

The money is nothing. PV has stepped it's game up in the last few years enough, Republicans will give them plenty of money if/when they need it. $120k is nothing, e probably have schoolboard races that cost that, IIRC 70k was the highest.

The principle of the matter is another entirely.

You can claim they are not undercover journalists, not the point.

Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle" would have lost on these charges, he clearly cost the company business.
