Ex-Democrat Tulsi Gabbard Signs With Fox News After Endorsing Several Election Deniers in 2022 Midterms

Gabbard’s contract begins next week, Los Angeles Times reports

Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democrat who left the party this year and then endorsed a slate of right wing extremists running as Republicans in races across the country during the 2022 midterms, has signed a contract with Fox News, the Los Angeles Times reported Monday.

Gabbard, who left the Democratic Party a month ago after declaring it was “now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness,” will formally begin her contract with Fox next week, but as a preview she guest-hosted “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Monday.

Carlson’s Fox News show, dubbed “the most racist show in the history of cable news” by the New York Times, has a long, documented history elevating and promoting white supremacist conspiracy theories such as “great replacement.”

Gabbard goes to Fox following the midterms when, among other things, she endorsed and campaigned for two failed Arizona Republicans: Senate candidate Blake Masters, who repeatedly insisted Donald Trump won the 2020 election, and gubernatorial hopeful Kari Lake, who in addition to lying about Trump’s 2020 loss also advocated transphobia during her campaign and suggested she wouldn’t accept the results of the election if she lost.

Gabbard also endorsed Washington Republican Joe Kent, an election denier who was revealed during the primary earlier this year to have longstanding ties to white supremacists and holocaust deniers. And she also endorsed failed Nevada U.S. Senate candidate Adam Laxalt, one of the first Republicans to push baseless conspiracy theories in an attempt to overturn the 2020 election.

Fox News representatives didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment from TheWrap, but the network confirmed the hiring to the Los Angeles Times and Mediaite.

• "Gabbard, who left the Democratic Party a month ago after declaring it was “now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness,”"

Accurate.

• "“the most racist show in the history of cable news” by the New York Times"

Inaccurate. That award would more accurately go to "The View" or Joy Reid's show.

• "conspiracy theories such as “great replacement.”"

The should have put "conspiracy theories" in quotation marks, not "great replacement", since the great replacement is a conspiracy but not a theory.

• "advocated transphobia"

lol. No. Calling things "-phobia" is weak agitprop. People are not afraid of transpersons, they're just aware that they are being used as a prop by the Malthusian total state.

• "baseless conspiracy theories"

lulz. "Baseless". "Conspiracy theories". :D

• "Fox News representatives didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment from TheWrap"

I can't believe that umm... "TheWrap"... couldn't get a comment from Fox News. This is almost as wild as Glen not being able to get an exclusive with Brad Pitt. Glen sent an email and everything.
