The CDC has pretty much admitted the vaccine doesn't keep you from getting COVID. Now they always say prevents "serious" infection instead of just infection. This is about deaths though and COVID symptoms are usually less severe if you have been vaccinated. My parents both got COVID and my dads was much worse than my moms. His vaccines were up to date and mom hasn't taken any COVID vaccines. Doesn't mean the vaccine didn't work as intended just that sometimes that shit doesn't matter.

Dukhat Member	Thu Nov 24 21:21:53 You still get some variant eventually but you are less likely to die and more importantly less likely to have serious symptoms which also include flu-like symptoms like coughing which decreases the chance of people around you to get it, If you hate vaccines or whatever, then do what you want with your body … as long as it doesn’t risk anyone else’s life. Which is why anti-vax nurses are pieces of shit and why people who keep going out when they have symptoms are also pieces of shit.

That should be reasonably weighed. However I will grant you that it won't. It will parse to two extremes generally over politics instead of data. The left still thinks its the pro science/data wing of politics however.When, really it's just ruled by partisan hierarchy.
