Giuliani already confirmed to have taken info from Russian sources. Giuliani is on tape saying he refused to share the source w/ news outlets who asked for it. So... why should outlets just report what Giuliani says is there? They'd just become mouthpieces for Trump campaign. And if there were any surrounding texts adding context, Giuliani can just not share it (none of what he put out was conclusive of anything, he did wild speculation on all if it) & if outlets did give it credibility by just repeating Giuliani's claims, what if he tosses out an alleged new one "Thanks for helping me get that hooker out of the trunk, Dad" text on election eve...
