It should be made illegal to profit in any way shape or form from arresting, jailing and confiscation of US citizens, period. Yes some people are so bad they should be in jail, I'll pay for that via taxes. The vast majority of US policing problems stem from this. Many criminal problems stem from this as well.

Yeah, I'm fine with limiting both to sectioned private areas and trying to prevent the worst associated outcomes. But lets face it, the current method of prevention does not and has not worked, if anything it exacerbates the problems. Making drugs and whites illegal hasn't stopped them, hasnt stopped associated crimes/issues like homelessness, abuse and committing crimes to pay for a habit. If we got rid of everything that is more likely to increase the chances of crime we wouldnt have young black men. But this is a side effect of the real issue, which is that we have authorized armed gangs to fund their jobs through confiscating resources from American citizens. If they "suspect" you did something illegal, they can steal your property without a trial and keep it as part of the Department, or usually sell it to fund nee jobs and equipment. The incentive system is what is fucked up. A cops job should be to keep the peace and detain those who break it by victimizing others. A jail should be a deterrent to commit a crime and to try and prevent recidivism. Right now we have people/corporations/governments etc. That make more money the more more people are in jail for longer. We have police forces that funs their departments by finding ways to take money and resources from our own people. Its sick, it's the sort of mentality that IMHO made the commies far worse than the Nazis. The Nazis defined who an "us" was and did well by them largely at the expense of others/outsiders. Commies hurt their own people who they would call comrades. It's why canabilism is so depraved, no one cares if you eat other animals, but you don't victimize your own folks.

Biting off more than you can chew and bring destruction and occupation onto your people isn't anything I would call doing right by them.
habebe Member	Sun Jan 29 16:18:10 Germany was better off post ww2 than than post ww1. For all the damage it brought by failing, it still gave a better outcome.People forget Germany was so in debt after Versailles they were the poorest nation on earth.
