Canada needs to send some of its cancer patients to the US, as the US has capacity and they do not.

Yes, socialized medicine can indeed afford to send patients abroad for treatment. Things like that are only a problem for profit health care. Then any cross border leakage represents loss of profit.

See people going to canada to buy medicine for details.

Canada spends less in PUBLIC spending per capita than the US and here you are talking shit.

US - Public per Capita: $4,993
Canada - Public per Capita: $3,466

Socialized HC is great at getting ppl basic coverage and usually does bad at providing adequate specialized care.

The solution seems to be to offer general care for the masses lie preventative measures and such and for profit measures mixed into more specialized care. (HSA's?)

Never tie HC to a job, its just bad policy.I think it's a rare issue Seb, Jergul and I agree on.

Now specifically, Canada is a cancerous state by nature, they exist only by relations with the US.

The US has capacity because cancer patients cant afford to go to the doctor. They even put out advice for people who cant afford cancer treatment. Shocking in all the developed world except the USA

All I can tell you is that the for profit Cancer Care Center in Brewer Maine, is so short of Oncologists that they stopped taking any new patients.

My stepson Aspire, had to wait a year for a hip replacement here in Maine.

My father in law, who lived on Grand Manan Island Canada, had severe heart disease. If he lived in the States his medical bills over a 16 year span would have been well over $20 million. When he passed away, his wife was saddled with $0 in medical bills.

My granddaughters husband has had 2 brain surgeries for a benign brain tumor.

Funny story. My niece and her husband stopped here for a visit on their way to Montreal to visit husbands mother. He woke up in a lot of pain and they weren't long packing up and beating feet back to Saint Stephen NB for free medical. What is funny is that they are both highly critical of Canada's health care system.

Wtb, It's because the US government gives.away our money to prop up leech nations like Germany who ar too poor to afford a military but spend lavishly on social programs because they leech of the US.

Its a rare case of intelligent politicking by German politicians.
