Even if we go with the folksy concept of intelligence, he doesn’t understand the difference being smart and possessing knowledge and having domain specific expertise. Then there was that time he assaulted a homeless old man with mental health issues, then came here and braged about it. You know it is one thing to do that and another to not understand that the thing you did is not something you brag about. He does not comprehend basic social norms and code of conduct.
