But now losing doesn't matter. Being able to have "put trump on trial" is priceless on their political resume. Keep in mind. There is no victim or aggrieved party in this case. All the loans given to trump were paid back and most loans were profited from. The only people complaining are the NYC AG. It is a political witch hunt and trump is going to benefit from this immensely bias media circus.

Trump's main defense is the disclaimer clause that says banks shouldn't trust his numbers & do their own analysis... but do you really want that clause to mean you can then lie your ass off about everything? or should there still be some presumption of good faith numbers? so basically Trump has his fans/cult yet again supporting crime... in this case deliberate fraud, as that's his defense

The judge will find Trump guilty, Trump will appeal and a higher court will find either the judge or attorney general (probably both) overstepped their authority and/or conducted themselves in a manner that didn't give Trump a fair hearing. Then the AG starts all over again with whatever the fuck goofy charge he has for a rainy day. Their goal is to keep Trump off the campaign trail.

And also lies about all of that everywhere else he goes, but needs to show up for the ‘forced off campaign trail’ lie There was every expectation charges were coming well before he announced running, his whole ‘election interference’ is entirely bullshit (as is claiming Biden behind the charges) His illegal home was raided and the contraband found in large quantity...thus charges not surprising (especially with the confirmed obstruction)... the J6 committee gave criminal referrals and no non-partisan claimed there was no wrongdoing shown and the charges crazy. Your media wouldn’t even tell their audiences any details of either, not exactly confidence in his innocence. Those are the only federal charges, and neither with indication of being corruptly charged (& Trump clearly guilty on docs by his own admissions).
