Guessing they mean that she was found at her home and the blood trail was left by the fleeing killer? (As opposed to *her* leaving the trail: stabbed initially while walking home, running to her door, and being murdered there.) She lived in a low-crime and upper class subdivision where people would notice street-clothes and outsiders. (Street View images have several white dog-walkers looking suspiciously at the Google car.) That's always a risky decision for black people since it's obvious, but it happens. Crime stats in the immediate area (within 2–3 blocks) have.. • an intimidation/stalking down the street on October 19th. • felony assault the morning before (Friday the 20th) • a felony assault early that same morning (after the murder) • Two assaults and a B&E on the 22nd (Sunday; day after death) I'm also going with black. Seems way too similar to Nicole Brown Simpson's death. Probably a stranger, though. Probably can add this to a list of politically active leftists who are killed by their own pro-"diversity" policies.

This almost makes it sound like it occurred at her doorstep — not inside. They also said that they are "confident" that the current evidence points *away* from a "hate crime", though they won't go into specifics. They have several suspects that they are currently working and are leaning towards one in particular. They're also looking at finding surveillance evidence that might show if a vehicle followed her home from the wedding or another location. They seem short on surveillance footage from the surrounding area, partially because the neighborhood had rules against surveilling particular areas of interest. I'm just guessing that they have evidence that she was robbed by an opportunistic thief who was in the area.

Maybe she wasn’t sufficiently pro-Israel or maybe she criticized Israel somewhat and someone in the synagouge got angry at her, thinking that she was a Hamas supporter. How many times was she stabbed? One time? Or ten times? If she was stabbed several times it could mean that there was some emotions involved. If she was stabbed at her door, it means that someone knocked on her door. She mustn’t have perceived the killer as a threat since she opened the door. Would she have opened the door if there was a black man outside? Maybe it was someone she knew. Someone from her synagouge. I think I may have solved the case. Well almost anyway. All that the police got to do now is to interogate the members of the synagouge.

It sounds like they're very sure that they have the right suspect but just need to get solid charges. He'll probably take a birthright trip to Israel right about now.

If so, you might want to learn about the Bet Din, Mesirah, and Israel's history of being a safe-haven for criminal Jews who are fleeing prosecution. Jewish people prefer to deal with the actions of other Jewish people out of the public eye (even Jewish-on-Jewish crime). That could mean quietly paying for damages to avoid a public trial (a trial would make Jewish people look bad), surrendering wealth and property to Jewish organizations, and/or producing a non-Jewish patsy. Repressive tolerance gives options.
