Hrothgar Member	Thu Dec 21 10:58:20 Yeah, best part of the movie was the trailers. Which is disappointing, I was looking forward to a high-quality movie showing some accurate depth to Napolean's battles. Instead, we got his life story barely touching on a couple of actual battles.

obaminated Member	Thu Dec 21 13:26:51 Honestly it's a cool sequence but I can see why this movie didn't land with audiences. Got into a pretty long and drawn out argument with other folks in the industry about audience participation and interest. Classic. My ending point was audience will watch "adult" movies, see Oppenheimer. Hell. It seems to me the tide is there for adult films sans the marvel humor and sarcasm. But it needs to be well done because audiences are waaaay more savvy than Hollywood thinks they are. But I'm also the guy who has claimed since covid that theaters are dinosaurs and why would I pay 30 bucks on a date to sit next to dorks who can't turn off their phones and shut the fuck up for 2 hours when I have everything at my home.
