Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement.

Opposed to anarchism, democracy, pluralism, liberalism, socialism, and Marxism,[7][8] fascism is placed on the far-right wing within the traditional left–right spectrum.

Fascism is a term applied to a fairly diverse range of historical regimes but is generally agreed to refer to a brand of far-right totalitarianism characterized by its obsession with the nation and often race

But if fascism is left-wing, then are you a left-wing, Rugian?

Narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and everyday sadism were associated with right-wing political orientation, whereas narcissism and psychopathy were associated with political extremism.

Hofer voters had higher scores in narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, everyday sadism, and political extremism than did Van der Bellen voters, indicating that right-leaning individuals score higher on all aspects of the dark personality. Narcissism and psychopathy were also associated with political extremism.

The Trump champagne DESTROYED the librals!

http://www...th-use-word-vermin-2023-11-13/

Steven Cheung, a Trump campaign spokesman, rejected the comparisons to Hitler and Italy's Mussolini.

"Those who try to make that ridiculous assertion are clearly snowflakes grasping for anything because they are suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome and their sad, miserable existence will be crushed when President Trump returns to the White House," Cheung said on Monday.

But seriously, how much better would life in America be if 81 million Biden voters were eliminated overnight?

- Much less traffic on the highway

- Cost of housing would plummet

- Zero homeless camps in the cities

- No more trannies, furries, or Tumblr users

- Crime rates would tank once all of the Soros prosecutors are gone

- Having a majority of the citizenry that doesn't hate their own country (imagine that)

- Goodbye era of big government

- NO MORE BLACK PEOPLE (Cel-e-brate good times come on!)

Deep down, even you leftists know that this country would be materially better without you.

[wtb link]: "Narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and everyday sadism were associated with right-wing political orientation, whereas narcissism and psychopathy were associated with political extremism."

I've mentioned this before in regards to these flawed studies and how it impacted and destroyed Wikipedia's objectivity regarding fascism (which can be of both the left- and right-wing), but an obvious tell is that many of these studies automatically dismiss the possibility of left-wing authoritarianism. Feel free to scan wtb's article for authoritarianism and see how the authors code it. This is so obvious that even Jordan Peterson pointed it out years ago, most notably here in January 2022:

Peterson: "The third, Professor Mahzarin Banaji of Harvard, remains recalcitrant. Much of this can be attributed to her overtly leftist political agenda, as well as to her embeddedness within a sub-discipline of psychology, social psychology, so corrupt that it denied the existence of left-wing authoritarianism for six decades after World War II. The same social psychologists, broadly speaking, also casually regard conservatism (in the guise of “system justification”) as a form of psychopathology."
http://nat...r-at-the-university-of-toronto

I was pointing this out in UP as early as 2020 (I found this link, but I was talking about it even earlier http://ftp.utopiaforums.com/boardthread?id=politics&thread=86782&time=1602529806574 ), with an explanation of how the Wiki edit war had proceeded on the "Fascism" page after 2016.

The short version is that after Trump's election, a major DNC talking point was that Trump was a "fascist". By March 2016, this resulted in an increase in people Google-searching for "fascism" to see if the label fit ( http://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&geo=US&q=fascism&hl=en-US ). This began the edit war. It became very important for leftists to manipulate the "fascism" page so that useful idiots could visit that page and see fascism's symptoms match Trump's statements. The drift was from fascism being defined as a collectivist ideology that sought an overthrow to traditionalism and conservatism to establish a single-party state.. to the now hard-coded opening line of "far-right, authoritarian". This means that Reddit midwits searching for "proof" (lies) can get it within the opening words of the article — before even clicking on the article from Google's listings.

This was accomplished via "article creep", where people make seemingly small edits which most people do not notice. This technique eventually omits competing sources and prioritizes narrative-setting sources until the "neutral point of view" is pure left-wing bias. For instance, a 2009 version of the Wiki page for fascism had a line with 11 sources for "Fascism seeks to overthrow (traditionalism and conservatism)", but all of those sources were removed over the years. This was so that the talk page could claim that there is "unanimity" in "fascism" being entirely a right-wing phenomenon.

(Incidentally, in going through all of these incremental changes, this post-2016 drift was mostly managed by one user: "Beyond My Ken", who spent months picking at little segments bit-by-bit so that mentions of left-wing authoritarianism would be removed. This incrementalism strategy was so much of an issue with this particular user that he was called out for it by other editors on different articles.)

And authoritarianism was the central trick. Fascism as an ideology can come from any "wing", since its binding principle is collectivist action, centralized control, and the subordination of individuals (the very image of the «Fasces» (bundle of rods)). But, in order to infiltrate the article, studies such as wtb's were used on the basis of a core fallacy: that authoritarianism is itself "right-wing" only. The tests run by these social psychologists pad their results with this fallacy, aligning "Dark Triad" traits with authoritarianism and telling the audience that authoritarianism is only "right-wing".

Of course, any thinking individual knows that this is false. Many left-wing people want a centralized and collectivist uni-party state to subordinate the will of individuals under the tyrannical rule of a propaganda-managed mob (i.e., where the mob is conditioned to merely consent to the pre-existing will of oligarchs). This is the "democracy" spoken of by the left-wing tyrants. This is left-wing authoritarianism.

But, with a fallacious poof of logic, since "left-wing authoritarianism" does not exist, then the actions of the left must not be authoritarian! It must not be fascism! George Orwell could not have been warning about the modern left, since he was a leftist! All symptoms of fascism or of left-wing authoritarianism can be discarded!

It's hilariously disingenuous, but Wiki and Google have been owned by the edit wars through infiltration, super-editor statuses, and locked pages. The Fascism talk page even states, "Fascism is a right-wing ideology ... Please do not request that "right-wing" be changed to "left-wing"; your request will be denied, and you may be blocked from editing if you persist in doing so."

This is why it's so fitting to avoid the semantic game and simply call the modern left "totalitarian". This current movement is undeniably totalitarian. There is no semantic game there since totalitarianism is by its own name a totalizing system which must intrude into every aspect of public life. People such as Seb, wtb, tw, murder, and Dukhat want the state to have total power. This is the logic of psychopaths and destroyers.

..
Anyways, a similar tactic has now been extended to Elon Musk. If you search his name, this is the top result, as brought to you by Wiki:
• "Elon Reeve Musk is a businessman and investor. He has supported white supremacists, anti-immigration politics and promoted antisemitic conspiracy theories."

A version from 17 hours ago had a slight variation:
• "Elon Reeve Musk is a businessman, investor and far-right conspiracy theorist"

Imagine being mentally retarded, like wtb for instance, searching for Elon Musk information, and seeing this kind of lie fed to you by Google and Wikipedia — and believing it! This kind of propaganda is priceless to the Regime. They can slander/libel anyone that goes against the totalitarian state, poor this poison into the minds of the millions who use these searches, and disappear into editor-obscurity before the walls close in. They can cite themselves, give weight to false credentials, and have billion-dollar media empires carry the water as "truth".

Midwits who believe they're doing due-diligence will simply Google-search, "Is Elon Musk a right-wing conspiracy theorist?" and who is there to fill their minds with poison? The Atlantic, New York Times, Vox, the Guardian, Washington Post... and the Sebs simply trust these liars, consider the matter "fact-checked", and remain ensnared by a web of deceit.

fascism, a system of government characterized by rigid one party dictatorship, forcible suppression of opposition, private economic enterprise under centralized governmental control, belligerent nationalism, racism, and militarism. etc.

from Webster's New World Dictionary
second college edition.

I've had this for well over 30 years. I don't believe Wikipedia was around when I got this dictionary.

So with Trumps record of bankruptcy and business failures. If he wins and is put in control we are all basically fucked.

Well I wont be. I'll likely die in the next few years. But if there is an after life I want to float around and check on how wonderful life will be for Rugian. Ask him what McDonalds happy meals taste like after they've been through Trumps digestive system.

Wtb is stuck in tropes that were unravled a decade ago. If you stack a room full of left wingers and liberals, say a social science class room, they will systematically churn out “studies” pathologizing right wingers and conservatives. It’s as if there are “group norms” that makes people biased towards “others” and blind to their own shortcomings. Of course this dynamic works with any group feminism vs toxic masculinity another example, and the irony is that these are concepts (group norms and pathologizing the other) these people will beat you over the head with, they just never see the problem in themselves.

"He delves further into this cherry picking by showing extreme focus to "social sciences," which happen to be the least sciency science in existence - an objective fact."

Yes, but the social sciences actually have alot of impact on social and economic policy (corporate and political). Garbage that actually informs activism and policy decisions. The type of moral outrage inducing things like "implicit bias" and "toxic masculinity". And it does indeed suffer from a heavy liberal bias, instititutes that have 40 liberal professor for every conservative. One consequence is that almost all the studies have conservatives and right wingers as the subject matter. This leads to skewed results for one, and a constant pathologizing of people from one ideology. Intellectual echo chambers.

OMG look what republitards think!

[patom]: "fascism, a system of government characterized by rigid one party dictatorship, forcible suppression of opposition, private economic enterprise under centralized governmental control, belligerent nationalism, racism, and militarism. etc. ... I've had this for well over 30 years. I don't believe Wikipedia was around when I got this dictionary."

And it describes the DNC well, doesn't it?
• The DNC wants a one-party state wherein the Politburo merely argues over the direction of the "progressive" movement of the cultural revolution
• The DNC conducts routine forcible suppression of the opposition, plainly expressed in their prosecution of their greatest political rival, their intentional removal of the Green Party in key states, and their infiltration and control of social media platforms as a means of narrative control.
• The DNC fully supports the Fed, the ESG asset managers, the FBI, and the merger of asset-managers with corporations and government via "sustainability" frameworks.
• The DNC supports expansionism of the Global American Empire (GAE), which forces compliance through militarism and debt control.
• The DNC's racism is incontrovertible, such as in the bigotry of low expectations for minority communities, their racialist strategy in black communities, their dysgenics programs (e.g., Planned Parenthood), and their overt hatred of White people.

I'm not sure how patom really thought that that would only apply to the right, but it's hilarious to see him with yet another blind spot for his handlers.

It's pretty hilarious.
Earthpig sometimes drops by to test talking points that evaporated in 2017 — which is funny enough — but then williamthebastard will drop by with talking points that fell apart in the early 2010s. Wtb could be likened to an RPG character that only leveled-up "credentialism"; all of his eggs are in that one basket. It's pure trust for authority and a complete lack of independent thinking.
